Summary
The war is over and Shepard's still alive.
Except she doesn't really understand what war everyone is talking about, or who half of these people are... The last thing she does remember is the Normandy blowing up over Alchera. Which apparently was a few years ago, and things had changed a lot during that time. She doesn't even know which bothers her more: that everyone wants her to be someone she's not, or that Garrus has been strangely distant ever since she woke up...TL;DR: Shepard survives the Crucible but loses all her memories since Cerberus rebuilt her. Shakarian angst and regular angst, all mixed up together into a nice hurt/comfort cocktail. Despite the scary tags this has a happy ending.

You have never seen your own face, but you have seen your arms and legs and know from the color of your skin and more numerous fingers that you are different from them. The people notice your eyes follow them as they move around the room. This interests them. They huddle around you and talk to each other as they shine a flashlight in your eyes. You do not understand what they are saying, but it is clear they are talking about you. Eventually they come to a decision and leave.Series

Not only is he staying hidden from all the world’s intelligence agencies (how), but he’s doing so while modeling for fashion magazines (what), posting videos about himself (why), gaining an internet following that absolutely includes Clint (and to his regret, Sam), and punching a whole lot of Nazis (in the face. with bullets).
Steve is absolutely supportive, much to everyone else’s concern.

Left with nothing after being dishonourably discharged from the Alliance, and given everything by Aria T'Loak when she drifted into Omega. Slightly unhinged and totally uncontrollable, the ex Alliance soldier takes merc contracts when she feels like it and runs a booming fight club on her off days. There are hundreds of batarians with grudges to fight, and she is determined to fight them all.
Garrus Vakarian; sick of his life and sick of the restrictions and always being told no at C-Sec, leaves in pursuit of Doctor Saleon. His search takes him to Omega, where he realises that the station is in dire need of help. He builds a vigilante squad to help wipe out crime, but in the end, it is he who needs help.
An AU where Shepard's back story happened, but the reapers never did.
Eventual smut.
