Kimi Antonelli hates Charles Leclerc, and he thinks that fact should be legally recognised, written down somewhere official, maybe notarised, because it feels important enough to deserve documentation. He hates him in a way that sits in his chest and crawls up his throat, the kind of hatred that makes his jaw ache from clenching and his hands curl into fists without him even realising he is doing it. It is dramatic and excessive and unfair, and Kimi knows all of that, but knowing something does not stop it from being true.
or, Kimi is just a child of divorce trying to be a loverboy in peace, but Charles Leclerc seems hellbent on ruining his life.

Kimi would describe himself as someone who made friends easily. He got along with most of the grid (well, with the ones who he'd had the opportunity to get to know better), but even then, he had 1 best friend. One of the most important people of his life, who he constantly thought about and who he texted every day, even if they were going to see each other anyway, because he wanted to know if he'd slept well, if he'd had breakfast yet, how he was feeling, or maybe just send a few memes. That best friend was called Ollie Bearman.

Gyuvin can’t remember the last time they did a livestream together.
It always feels like forever when they aren’t together. Honestly, that isn’t very often. Their entire lives have been spent together for the last four or so years. He’s lost track at this point. If he asked, Ricky could probably tell him down to the minute.
But they don’t really talk about stuff like that much anymore.
It’s weird. There’s nothing wrong but it doesn’t feel quite right.
Isn’t that the story of his life, Gyuvin thinks. At least only recently. He supposes this is what a life underneath the spotlight breeds. Thoughts of inadequacy and strange emotions he hasn’t felt enough to name.
Ricky could name them for him, if he asked.
