I fixed my gaze out the windshield, my voice trembling as I forced the words out. “I don’t dress for myself most days. I dress for damage control. For… defense. Like if I wear the right thing, I can blend in just enough to avoid the scrutiny.”
Will absorbed my disclosure, quiet and attentive.
“You don’t have to blend in with me,” he finally said, and his words wrapped around me like a warm embrace, making me feel both seen and safe, intertwined with sadness.
I'm writing about how I want season 5 to go. I know you see another Byler story, but it's more than that.

Moving through the threshold felt nauseating, pressing in on him at every angle and contorting his mind as he traveled. The colors pulsed behind his eyes, ones that only he could see as the Distortion. They plunged their knife into his gut, slicing him in two as he tried to continue forward. The knives were from his home, he remembered the block that sat in the corner, remembered the spirals and angles that represented his home in the endless corridors and rooms.
In this place, there wasn’t as much comfort as his old home. The colors were softer, warmer than the stabbing, hateful, bright hues that he slept among. The gentle shape of the room was much kinder than his home, sweeter than the endless twisting.

They don’t tell you that it doesn’t matter how much you know about fear, however many years you’ve spent treating it as an old friend; you’ll see your best friend in a trance, dying, and you’ll wonder if the human body was meant to feel this much fear all at once.
Eddie doesn’t know how to be brave, or maybe he’s just forgotten, but it’s little difference. Eddie doesn’t know how any of this works. Eddie can’t make something out of nothing– but maybe this isn’t nothing.

When Gerard finally returned home, the sun had set not long ago and he found their living room to be a mess of coloured yarn. Michael sat in the centre of the twisting threads, knitting furiously. A scarf that seemed to shift colours depending on how you looked at it flowed from the needles and he couldn't find where it began.

Michael rolled his eyes inwardly at the pretension of ”recollections,”—it was a month and a half ago—but forged ahead.
“I wasn’t trying to seduce you! I mean, look at you.” He waved his hands, encompassing Elias’s aristocratic nose, his wavy dark hair, the artistic line of him perched on the fire escape, like a figure from a Leyendecker, slumming it. “I was just having fun.”
Elias preened, taking a long drag on the joint and tilting his head to let out the smoke in a thin stream, lip curled.
“And yet,” he murmured, watching Michael from the corner of his eye. And Michael, bold from the version of himself Elias had created, put his cool fingers against the side of Elias’s neck and kissed him.
Michael had this way of never pulling you to him when he kissed you. Endlessly giving, he always came to you.

"Ha! He's just pissed cause he can't deny it, not to your face," A092 jeers, clapping you on the shoulder. You immediately throw her hand off. "You'd give up every scrap of data on you just to hook up with the guy, wouldn't ya, champ?"
You don't respond. Her grin widens the longer you say nothing.
There's a significant pause as Sebastian realizes that you don't intend to refute her statement. The smile on his face disappears, making way for flattered disbelief.
"Oh," Sebastian breathes, voice high with surprise. "You would. You–?"
You stomp over to the table and slam the stack of documents down. "I'm gonna go ahead and scout the next room," you mutter, picking up your diving gear and crawling into the vent. The sound of A092's mocking laughter follows you on your way out.

Summary
Audrey's presence in the cycle upset the natural order of the Ink demon's realm, weakening him after each reset, not to mention her presence caused his most loyal prophet to stray from his ritual duties. In order to right her wrongs he sets his sights on obtaining the Illusion of Living book given to her by Joey Drew. Just as its within his reach and his prophet by his side once more, an unknown killer rampages through the studio, intent on revenge and staining the sepia walls black with Bendy and all his followers' blood.
