Summary
Max, after a freak accident that puts him in a coma, has turned into a ghost. If that wasn’t bad enough, Max discovers while haunting his brother that Franz and Charles have been in a secret friends-with-benefits relationship. Even though Franz knows that Max has been in love with Charles for years.

Shinsou called him cute. Holy shit, he’s totally going to be screaming about this to his friends later—but for now, he just focuses on Shinsou’s hand, still extended out in front of him. Damn, he’d really like to feel Shinsou’s hand, but that’s obviously not an option right now. Short-circuiting sucks.
Shinsou’s easy grin falls from his face. “Fuck,” he says. “Are you—are you alright? My quirk—I’ve never used it on you before.”
Denki’s friends don’t know he can hear them when he short-circuits. Shinsou’s horrified when he sees it for the first time.

They stared at each other. The rumbling of an engine starting sounded from somewhere outside.
“You really don’t know who I am?”
Max shook his head wordlessly.
“So then… back at the bar–”
“I said the first name that came to mind,” Max said hollowly. “I was hoping that you’d just go along with it.”
The man–Charles–bit his lip, dropping his eyes to where his fingers were drumming on the countertop. His shoulders began to shake slightly, and, for a second, Max was afraid that he’d burst into tears.
That wouldn’t be fair. Max was the one who had been drugged and then essentially abducted, even if it was by a well-meaning, apparently famous person. If anyone should be crying, it was definitely him.
or, Max gets his drink spiked in a club, and rescue comes from an unexpected source.
