Ryan let go of Dylan's hand and placed his own on top of his shoulder, thumb brushing against his pulse point. He gave him the most determined look Dylan had seen on him since he was swearing on his life that Chris Hackett was the best of men.

That feeling gets bigger, spilling out like her drink, all warm and thick and terribly sweet like syrup. It works its way into her muscles and bones, making her feel slow and heavy in a way she’s never felt in the morning. Mornings were meant to be sparked alive, to embrace the rising sun, to be up and active and free. Here, with his hand holding hers, she feels anchored, like no matter what comes her way, nothing will manage to sweep her away from this moment. Nothing will take her away from him.
She’s giggling, quite suddenly and probably sounding absolutely bonkers, which is normal enough for her.

The night Tommy disappeared, it went like this:
Tubbo screamed the words that became his goodbye. He can’t accept that Tommy is gone, because that would be accepting that the last words they exchanged were angry and intended to hurt. So he doesn’t accept it. He’ll search for years if he has to.
Techno let Tommy leave without so much as trying to stop him. He’s replayed the memory of that night and wished he’d done anything else, until he thinks the guilt might be enough to destroy him. He thinks he might already be on his way there.
And Quackity can’t help but feel like this is all just a bitter echo. This town is cursed, and Tommy is only its latest victim.

Six, Wilbur was revived a hell of a lot more reasonable than anyone thought and decided to fuck off into the woods rather than kill anyone.
Seven, Tubbo has nukes, so if reasons four, five, and six turn out to be untrue, Tubbo can fix that real quick.

Tommy can’t really sleep these days. He tries. He wishes he could. Every part of his body seems to scream out for it as well, telling him that he’s tired. Physically and mentally, and he knows logically that sleeping would help. Even if it was just for an hour or two, though that wouldn’t be the most ideal. Still, the best he can do for himself is lay in bed unmoving for a few hours. He’s lucky if he got to close his eyes for more than five minutes.
