Battat turned the corner while fixing Mike's stupid bowtie and crashed right into his boss, the two startling as the impact jolted the mug in Tenna’s hand. The liquid sloshed and splattered all over Battat and his costume.
"Battat!” Tenna yelped, his antennas going crooked. He immediately bent down, fussing uselessly as though he could wipe away the damage before it set in. "Goodness, are you alright?! Does it burn?” The hand on Mike's cheek quickly slapped over Tenna's own mouth in realization.
Battat twitched under the costume. What.

Battat felt himself frown, turning his body to continue looking around the hall, eyes squinting as if it would change anything.
Same thing again, if anything giving him a sense of vertigo.
This and starting to get lightheaded, he placed a hand against the wall to steady himself, as if the ground could give out any moment.
“You’re such a good pal Mike, and these massages you started up recently, really!” Tenna pushed the door open, looking over before tilting his head. “Mike?”
His mouth turned dry, standing there before turning to look up at his boss.
Okay, not even a metaphor, his mouth literally felt like he suddenly wasn’t producing saliva.

Ralsei was a good person. A good person, with good goals that had been drilled into him since he came into existence. He was born to serve the Lightners. No matter how the Lightners chose to save the world, it was his job to assist them. Kris was…violent. Cold. Uncaring.
But sometimes they opened up, just a tad. Those moments were drugs, and Ralsei was just another junkie.
