"i don't want to go to a cafe with minjae," juhoon murmured, his thumb lightly brushing across seonghyeon’s lower lip. "i want to sit on the bleachers while you shoot free throws until my feet go numb. okay?"
seonghyeon let out a long, shaky breath, the tight knot of anger in his chest finally unravelling, replaced by a warm, heavy heat that made his knee tremble just slightly.
"you're still an arrogant jerk," seonghyeon muttered softly, leaning down to press his forehead against juhoon’s shoulder.
"and you're a territorial Neanderthal," juhoon replied affectionately, his hand gently patting the back of seonghyeon’s head. "now pick up your ball. we're ten minutes behind schedule."

seonghyeon finally turned to face him fully. his dark eyes were steady, fixed on juhoon with an intensity that made the room feel suddenly much smaller. "your favorite dongsaeng. you said keonho."juhoon stared at him for a second, then broke into a small, amused smile. "oh, that? it was just a random question on live. keonho really did buy me coffee yesterday, so—"
"i bought you dinner two nights ago," seonghyeon interrupted, his voice low, steady, and entirely unamused. "i stayed up with you until 3 a.m. helping you memorize the new blocking. i literally walked five blocks in the rain to get those specific pastries you wanted last week."
juhoon’s smile faded slightly as he realized seonghyeon wasn't joking. "seonghyeon-ah, it's not that deep. it was just a fun answer for the fans. you know how lives are."

juhoon’s breath hitched, but he didn't pull away. he tilted his chin up, his gaze locking onto seonghyeon’s dark eyes in the dim red glow of the recording light overhead. "so?" juhoon whispered, his voice infuriatingly calm. "he's just martin."
"i don't give a fuck," seonghyeon spat out through clenched teeth. "don't let him touch you. don't let anyone touch you."
"then do something about it," juhoon murmured back, his fingers coming up to wrap around seonghyeon’s wrists, his nails pressing into the skin. "make sure I can't think about anyone else."

Summary
CORTIS is doing a photoshoot for W Korea, and for Juhoon’s concept, he’s put in a skirt and a fitted shirt.
The reaction from the members is immediate.
The staff love him, the camera loves him, and thanks to his modeling experience, Juhoon has no problem breezing through his individual shoot. Unfortunately, his members are there to witness all of it.
What starts as a few comments from Keonho and Seonhyeon during the shoot turns into them making it their mission to bother their hyung for the rest of the day. By the time the group teaser photos and Weverse content roll around, the two younger members have completely lost whatever self-control they started with.
Juhoon just wanted to finish the photoshoot. His members, apparently, had other plans.

Juhoon thinks it’s just a stupid Mario Kart bet. He doesn't know that lounging on the kitchen counter in a crop top and miniskirt is currently giving James a meltdown, causing Martin’s brain to short-circuit, giving Seonghyeon a tactical heart attack and making Keonho ready to fight a wall.
What started as a prank ends with four desperately blushing boys silently holding their breath every time he moves, praying the twenty-four hours never actually end.

When Juhoon stopped laughing, he realized the attention on him with a jolt. The smile fell. He wrapped his arms around himself, like he was suddenly cold, shrinking back. “What?”
Seonghyeon cleared his throat. Keonho seemed to come back to his senses. He shook his head like a dog, mumbling under his breath about losing the fight. It took Martin a little longer. James nudged him with his knee, and he made a sound like a gasp for air. Had he not been breathing that whole time?
“Nothing,” Martin coughed. “You looked—you should do that more often. Smile, I mean.”
Juhoon looked off to the side. His ears were red, noticeable even in the dim atmosphere. He took a cheeto out of the bag and threw it at Martin. It bounced off his forehead. “Don’t say that. You sound like a perv.”
Martin falls in love the only way he knows how—all encompassing, entirely devoted, whole-heartedly. James shoulders the responsibility of rationality in the face of emotion, when Martin can't conceptualize that some things can't be fixed by sheer will. Juhoon tries his best at normality. Keonho and Seonghyeon are somehow both too perceptive and painfully oblivious.
