The entire room became blinding for one moment, Adam pulling Charlie in seconds after, his mouth hovering next to her ear.
“Little reminder, princess, if you fuck this up, you belong to me.”
Charlie gulped, her eyes getting wide and mouth going dry, ear flipping with anxiety and perhaps something else. Not something that Charlie could necessarily pin down at the moment as she froze in place. Adam pulled away and gave Charlie a look. “Same time next week.”
ALTERNATIVELY:
A GuitarPrincess fic where their original meeting went a little differently and now Adam and Charlie are having weekly meetings and falling for each other until they have bigger problems than the fact that one belongs in Heaven and the other belongs in Hell.

Summary
As much as Adam loves extermination day, he almost loathes what comes next more: the annual post extermination assessment with Lucifer. Debriefing that smug prick year after year, even as he gets to rub the receipts in his face, lost it's luster a very long time ago.
But this year’s meeting is different. And all he can think about, is how the prince of lies must be scheming something- again. Because there is no way the First Fucking Man could possibly feel anything positive towards some bimbo nepobaby princess of hell.
Charlie, meanwhile, couldn't imagine finding a man like Adam attractive. He tells crass, revolting jokes, mocks her constantly, threatens her, treats her like shit, takes out his issues with her father on her, commits genocide against her people- and if all that wasn't enough, he's her mother's ex-husband.
...
But she can totally fix him.
Alternatively: Chadam fic where Charlie's meeting with Adam happens early and she tries convincing him genocide is an unhealthy coping mechanism. And he falls in love with her over it.

Deep wants to get away from Homelander, but he is scared Homelander would find him and he would get hurt. He accepted Homelander's verbal and physical abuse towards Deep and knows if he protests, he would get hurt even worse. He has been going through this for so long that the abuse feels like love, questioning if he really wanted to leave.
Homelander wants to get rid of Deep, because he is useless. He can't do anything right. He was only a human punching bag or a sex toy to Homelander. Deep was weak and a joke compared to the rest of the seven.
After Deep was exiled and got gill-raped by some random 'fan', he took a swim in the Sandusky river to clear his mind and saw a guy jumping of a bridge.!! DISCLAIMER !! It made sense in a way, what with him being the father of humanity and all, that she'd be able to find similarities between her people and this foul-mouthed angel. She'd just need to offer him something he hadn't yet had. Before she could talk herself out of this hair-brained scheme, before she could convince herself it wouldn't work because it had to, Charlie forced the words to leave her mouth even as bile stung her throat.
