Summary
They reach the ocean two years after they come back to Earth.
Some of the kids decide to stay with their parents, of course. But many of the Camp Jaha residents choose to come with them to the sea. All in all, when they arrive at the coast, the procession is 126 people strong.
Clarke stands on the weathered highway, the weight of the pack on her shoulders suddenly lighter, so much so that she might float away. There’s a beach in front of the road, and beyond that, the ocean is an immense wall of blue.
(Clarke used to live in space, but somehow the ocean looks bigger than the cosmos ever did.)

Summary
After a year of building a home on the ground, Clarke randomly decides they need to celebrate with an old earth holiday appropriate in both season and tone: Thanksgiving. Bellamy agrees because, well, it’s Clarke. However, there might be a little more behind her newfound holiday zeal and not all of it is mentally healthy. But celebrating what they’re thankful for with the family they’ve made on the ground might make Clarke admit what she’s hiding and both of them admit something else they’re thankful for: each other…
This is a world in which the Ark never arrives, so relations with the Grounders are great and they did away with Mount Weather as a team. It’s also a world in which Bellamy Blake is hopelessly in love with Clarke Griffin, but that’s every world that makes sense, so… Enjoy Thanksgiving with all the delightful Dropship days feels I could stuff into this story.

“Why you and Draco, Hermione?”
“Well it’s such a lovely house, it’d be a shame to pass it up just because of sleeping arrangements.” She glanced up, perhaps sensing the underlying emphasis in Pansy’s question, and met his eyes. “You don’t mind, do you Draco? Or I could share with Ron if you’d rather be with Blaise?”
“Don’t mind a bit.” He sipped his tea, the picture of nonchalance.

Hermione crept inside the library at Malfoy Manor as quietly as possible. It was as good a place as any to catch her metaphorical breath, before she had to plaster on a fake smile and rejoin the ball to keep up appearances. Maybe she could find that book on the origins of arithmancy Draco mentioned the last time they were here? Hermione doubted she’d be back at the Manor any time soon. If ever. Not after tonight.
Making her way to her favourite spot in the back corner, Hermione was taken aback to discover Draco collapsed in one of the wing-backed chairs; wearily rubbing his eyes with one hand, as the other gripped an empty glass tightly. Notes of firewhisky lingered in the air.
He hadn’t noticed her.
Recovering from her surprise as best she could, Hermione deliberately kept her voice light. “Malfoy? Why on Earth are you hiding in the library? This is your Engagement Ball. Shouldn’t you be out there accepting fawning praise from Sacred Twenty-Eight luminaries for doing your part in keeping the Malfoy family tree as devoid of branches as possible?”
