“Okay,” Jay's therapist sat forward in his chair, sighing.
Little did his therapist know, he and Cole had been seeing one another for a long while..

Six months after the team split, Jay is still talking about how much he hates Cole to his therapist. Meanwhile, he's happily talking to Cole outside of that room and has been for months. He can't let his therapist know that though. Not while he's catching feelings for the earth master.

Summary
Jay didn’t respond, only focusing on the black ninja’s perfectly smooth skin and golden-speckled eyes. And, just for a moment, the world stopped spinning. Cole wiped the cut again, quickly bringing him back to reality. His head threatened to move, but Cole’s firm hold grew stronger - not too strong to hurt him - but enough to keep him still and reassured. Why was he being so nice?

Jay had frowned.

Jay didn’t want to say anything. Not because he was mad, but because he was confused.
“That we won’t do that thing where we make up in the middle of the fight and waste loads of time.”
That’s when Jay replied with, “I wouldn’t consider the moment we became best friends a ‘waste of time’ but ok, sure.”

Summary
Kai suddenly grabs his bag and phone, leaving his drink on the table, as he quickly leaves out the back door, pulling up Jay’s contact and calling him back. He walks outside, moving past a handful of dumpsters and arrives at a more isolated spot, usually where he’d go to smoke.
He waits rather impatiently, internally cursing himself each second that Jay doesn’t pick up. This is stupid, he thinks, but waits nonetheless.
Jay answers.
