Barney Calhoun has lived a fairly normal life. Living on site at Black Mesa didn't leave much space for anything fun or eventful nowadays, but it's enough for him. Even if the shifts are long and boring, it pays the bills enough for him. It's a boring rhythm, but it's familiar and comfortable. He'd always had such a strong idea of who he was, of what his world was like. He had been perfectly satisfied with living out a quiet life, and staying in an unremarkable place. But sometimes, the world around us isn't what we 'know' it as.
And there are questions that shouldn't be answered.
Knowledge that shouldn't be seen.(Updates might be slow since I am working on college stuff and also dealing with chronic illness!)
