    There’s nothing recognizable about Jason, except maybe the way he zeroes in on you the second you step into the room. He always treated you that way, like you were what he was waiting for, the only reason he even showed up.

    “Jason.” You say when you remember how to talk again. You’re vaguely aware that you’re digging your nails into your palms. You tell yourself to blink, your eyes beginning to water, but you can’t bring yourself to, afraid you’ll find that Jason won’t be there anymore.

    “Hey, Mags,” the figure greets you, and it’s the first time anyone’s called you that in years. It makes sense that it would be Jason who uses the nickname. He gave it to you, after all.

    You and Jason Todd spent your teen years together under Batman's tutelage and Bruce Wayne's care, your bond going much further than any words can describe. Six years after his apparent death, Jason reappears, both of you angry and dejected, teeming with love you don't know what to do with.

    You missed each other.

    After finally starting to face his father as the Green Ninja in battle, Lloyd has to face his most dangerous threat yet: highschool. But maybe after finding the other Elemental Masters he'll finally have the family he longed oh so badly for.

    Movie-verse but some things have changed;

    crackfic kinda, idk yet

    Personalities are more show-based

    The Oc's I mentioned in the tags are minor characters and will only be there for the story to continue

    I'm making water an Element of Creation because all the elements need to be connected on a deeper level (and because I CAN)

    Lloyd's mom abandoned him in this when he was a baby for - at least for Lloyd - unknown reasons (so she's basically Misako, not Koko)

    Lloyd was raised and homeschooled by Wu, who took him in.

    Misako PROBABLY won't make an aperance (no promises)

    I'm making this up as I go so this will probably go from gloomy angst to three puns in a row :)

    …But it may be a word for the rest of you.

    “Did you just shoot me?” Lloyd demands incredulously, and the man balks back, eyes wide, his gun raised once more.

    “Come on man!” A person calls out from the car that had honked at them. “Before we get caught!”

    The man looks warily at Lloyd, who may be seeing the blood flow out of him, but feels adrenaline and energy coursing through him instead.

    Instead of pain, all Lloyd feels is anger.

    OR: The Ninja snap, their elemental powers and memories returning to them after Lloyd gets shot and blamed for murder, and decide to give Ninjago something to actually fear. 

    OR OR: The Ninja are all morally gray, and Garmadon and Ninjago City should really be scared of things they cast aside.

    Loosely interconnected and featureing certain consistent concepts throughout - like the fact that the Honmoon is semi-sentient, Huntr/x are basically soulmates, and oh, of course, dog-motive Rumi :)

    Part I - Canon compliant work, follows the girls' story before, during and after the movie.
    Part II - Canon divergence, Rumi dies (They find her in the dirt by the tree)
    Part III - Canon compliant, Rumi, longing and loneliness.
    Part IV - Technically canon compliant, Huntr/x explicitly as soulmates.
    Part V - Canon divergence, Mira and Zoey remembering moments they had with Rumi after her death.
