“Ryland Grace,” You complete for him without thinking.
“You remember?” He exclaims, his eyes brightening.
You pause. How did you know that? You didn’t remember your own name until two minutes ago, yet you instinctively knew his. Something about him was familiar, but you couldn’t put your finger on it.You wake up nine days late aboard the Hail Mary with no memories and the faint feeling that you know Ryland Grace, the only other person aboard the ship. Have you ever asked yourself, "Hey, I wonder what it would feel like to read a dramione story from the POV of a moderately disinterested ghost?"
Yeah, me too. Buckle up for a tale that is out of order, unreliably narrated (due to a ghost's weak grasp on reality), and full of isolated moments between Draco and Hermione from their first year at Hogwarts to the end of the war.
Obviously...this is not canon-compliant, but it is straight vibes. So there's something.
