And with Murdoc becoming more distant every passing day.. it's hard predicting if a storm is approaching that they haven't prepared for...
But most of all, what Noodle and Russel are most concerned about..

(This is taking place during Song Machine so with new info stuff may be changed to go with it, I may also add art throughout later, but who knows I wrote this at 2:00am)

America was at a world meeting when it happened. None of the other countries, except one, expected the land of the free, home of the brave, to be victim of the deadliest terrorist attack in world history. But alas, nobody could stay away from America for long. Even the worst of people manifested their way onto his land and life.
This is a tribute to the 9/11 terrorist attacks on American soil in 2001. It remains the deadliest terrorist attack even in 2019. Today commemorates the 18th anniversary of the attack.

Alfred has tried every diet on the goddamn internet. He’s tried Keto, Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, even some sketchy chinese one he’d uncertainly translated off of a pop-up ad. He’s tried exercise plans, intuitive eating, calorie restriction, and just plain not eating at all. He has tried everything under the sun to lose weight.
It’s still not enough, so he leaves them with nothing.
(OR; Alfred doesn’t understand what to do to make himself ‘worthy’ of the other countries' praise. He’s getting pretty sick of it.)

Murdoc groaned, attempting to walk over to the bed while tripping over wires and his own feet every two seconds. He managed to get through the deathtrap of a floor, bending over to press his head flat against the ground and peer under the bed. 2D lay there, eyes closed and holding half of his face in his large palm as he faced the underside of his mattress. He looked like shit, dark bags under his eyes more prominent than usual and hair sticking up all over the place. Murdoc banged the side of the bed twice with his fist.
“The fuck are you doin’, Dents?”
Murdoc, professional emotional mess, checks in on 2D, newly-transformed social recluse.
Of course, their only nice interaction has to include fatal amounts of cider, but hey. It's something.
