Summary
Zuko falls to Azula's lightning, and Katara realizes she doesn’t want him to die. She doesn’t want anyone to die, but she especially doesn’t want him to die. Sometimes she thinks he’s the only one who understands, when the others are laughing and goofing off. What it’s like to have to try to be fun, to remind yourself that you’re just a kid too.
(And how stupid and typical of him to die this way, sacrificing himself for her.)
There’s not much else to do (she knows, she’s considered anything else she could possibly do). Katara pushes up her sleeves and sets to work saving his life.
Or
Katara heals Zuko after the Agni Kai and things go... wrong.

Post s2/pre s3 A/B/O Zutara smut- AGED UP! (Forgot that tag for a minute so it’s at the bottom…)
The Dark and Intriguing one where Katara gets taken prisoner in Ba Sing Se instead of Iroh and - uh oh! - she runs out of suppressants. When she falls into a disordered heat during the voyage on the royal cruiser, she finds herself no longer just fighting the Fire Nation for her freedom; she’s fighting her long-repressed omega nature for her mind and body, her very identity. And Zuko, that lying back-stabbing jerk, just happens to have a big old alpha-style compulsion to involve himself. Great. She’d almost rather let the fever kill her.
...almost...
Zuko’s life is looking up. He’s got his honor, his birthright, and a classy new girlfriend who wants to take their relationship to the next level. He should be happy... And he is! Really! But the ghosts of his choices won’t leave him alone and now the waterbender is making trouble in a truly unforeseen way. He’s a prince, a top-tier alpha, and a man with honor - but Katara has a devastating habit of forcing him to question what any of that even means.

She was drunk and horny and frustrated, and what else do girls pining for their brother's hot friends do when they just want attention? She really thought he would completely reject her... but Childe pleasantly surprised her when he responded rather positively to her picture.
Asking her for more.

Summary
Kei has a cynical and jaded outlook on love. When his friend Tadashi figures out that Kei has feelings for you, Kei isn’t sure how to react. After all, love is not something he does but rather, something that happens to him.
"There’s a notebook that Kei likes on his desk. No matter what he does, nothing is good enough to put a permanent mark into the thing. Even if he used a pencil, Kei feels like the evidence of the mark would still be there even after erasing it, a molecular change that can’t be seen with the naked eye. Kei calls it the notebook theory.
He thinks that might be what’s happening to him. A molecular change, imperceivable to someone not looking at him under a microscope. It’s like his DNA is being rewritten and stitched together with bright pink yarn. He feels himself steadily come apart and come together. It’s uncomfortable, like trying to dream when he has a fever. Kei is nearly certain that you’re the reason."

Summary
“Don’t patronize me,” she quietly said. “And do not pity me either. I am simply… offering some semblance of an explanation. Perhaps this will allow us to move forward—but do not presume that to be a proposition for friendship. I will never be your friend, or even a mere acquaintance.”
“Never?” Link asked, mouth agape. “How can you even think like that?”
“Because I can only count on myself,” she whispered into the cool air, the charred logs in the fireplace the only indication the room had once been warm. Goosebumps rose across the exposed skin of her forearms and the Princess went to hug herself. “I am but… all that I have, you see.”
“You had me once, Your Highness.”
“That I did,” Zelda managed to say through shaky exhalation, “but no longer.”
Or in which Link and Zelda were once childhood friends—once.

Summary
Without the demands of a century-long war, waterbenders use their gifts for art rather than combat. Katara and her family’s troupe of waterbending performers travel to the Fire Nation to exhibit for its lord. With a dance of moon-silvered water, Katara ensnares an admirer who offers gifts and unsigned notes.
As the troupe spends six weeks with the capital’s firebenders to craft an unforgettable tandem performance—a union of fire and water—Katara extends an invitation to meet the admirer. She is not expecting Fire Lord Zuko himself.
A hidden duet between them ignites kinship, passion, and then fierce devotion.
