He doesn't always get it right, sometimes there are cracks in things big enough to feel like an escape route and he slams into a wall. Or he doesn't angle close enough to the ground and trips on things. He's uh-" Dream flipped the communicator around, and Techno blinked as Bad flew through the air, screeching the whole way. "He's slippery."

Eddie crossed his arms across his chest. He was intrigued. Sex in every room of their first house together, the first place they’ve officially lived together, not one of theirs first, but always theirs, did seem like a fitting tribute to all their time lost.
Alas, he accepted Richie’s dare as a win-win for both their dicks, their sanity and honestly, because it sounded fun.
He had lived 27 years without much fun. Pure joy as a motivator felt rebellious, a hard lick of danger catching him in the abdomen and making his blood run hot. So after two days of nothing but unpacking, bickering and heavy lifting, Eddie’s ready to go with his instincts.

"Yeah, yeah. I thought of everything, your highness. Don't worry about it. I'll stay up late making 'em just for you."
"But I wanna help decorate."
Eddie's frown is precious. Richie pinches his cheeks—both sets—and nearly chokes when Eddie elbows him in the stomach. It's worth it.
"Okay, you can be my sous chef. Or, like, whatever the baking equivalent to that is. But only if you let me decorate Gingerbread Eddie. Oh, shit—Gingerbreddie!"
"Ugh. Please do not make that a thing. But alright, then I get to decorate gingerbread you."

“How have you been here like, five hours and you’re running my shitty life already,” Richie grumbles, stifling a yawn. “Are there type-A dogs? Is that a thing?”
Hot dogs for breakfast, courtesy of chef Richie, who wonders aloud if this is like, cannibalism before he puts it on a plate in front of him. Being a dog sucks, Eddie thinks gloomily, thoughts thick with visions of steel-cut oatmeal and green juices and honeydew melon, although his new taste buds have decided that hot dogs are actually just fine. His mind is the same, unfortunately, and he has to keep himself from thinking too hard on macros and his sodium intake and whether or not hot dogs are gluten-free, because he’s already got a fragile grip on everything like this and he thinks he’d lose it entirely if he did. He’d spent forty years knowing his body, every little thing about it, maintaining it carefully, like a temple, and now he doesn’t know the first thing about it. In fact, he has no idea if dogs can even have gluten allergies.
