Summary
You were a mature, independent woman. You had a job, an apartment, and could take care of yourself. Every once in a while, though, you just wanted to be held. Taken care of. It was silly, really. You didn’t need anything like that, but sometimes you wanted it. You wanted to just let yourself be small and helpless, in someone’s arms.
After being attacked and nearly raped on your way home one night, you have a hard time coming back to reality. Your mind regressed to a childlike state when strange blue flames burned your attackers to ashes within seconds. You should have questioned the intentions of the man walking towards you. You didn’t know him. He could have been a bad guy too. But… you were scared, and tired and just felt so small. And he had saved you. You weren’t thinking. You just wanted to be held. So, you ran up to him and clutched to his body while crying your eyes out onto his shirt.

"Toms," He starts gently, vaguely apprehensive to hear the answer, "baby, when was the last time someone hugged you?"
or, Tommy is touch-starved and Wilbur is confused. Until they're both not anymore.

Tommy pauses, then- "Um-"

“And everyone is so old,” Tubbo complains. Somehow, without them knowing about it, Tubbo’s managed to swipe a waffle and is chewing on it happily. Sapnap stifles a laugh. “Well, not everyone, I guess- the kid in our room is our age, I think. He might be younger.”
Wilbur perks up. “Does he ice skate?”
“Yeah, he does. He’s got these sick skates and everything.” Tubbo explains. “He’s quiet though. We tried talking to him, but…”
“But?”
Tubbo shrugs. "He's quiet. He doesn't talk much. I guess he's busy."
or, Tommy's made it to the Olympics for figure skating- he's the youngest contestant on the ice and he's the favor for the gold. He's supposed to be living the dream. So why is he still so unhappy? And why do all these hockey players and snowboarders care so much about him?

Summary
In his bones, the ache of loneliness has set in. Worse than that, the seatbelt digs into his ribs and one of his arms is twisted uncomfortably. Broken, maybe. The ship has realigned, and he can hear the dinging warning of oxygen leaks and damage, flashing red lights, but he lets his head drop to his chest. He closes his eyes.
Tommy is alone.
Floating in the middle of space as his water supply runs out is the last place that Tommy wants to be, but he's resigned to the fact that it might be his fate. That is, until a ship finally picks up on his transmissions...

A book falls from the sky one day, landing in the hands of a very loud and confused blonde teen.A quick look through it and a visit from a certain masked man later, Tommy is left questioning something he never thought would be up for debate.
Dream said he can prove that Tubbo doesn't trust him, something that sticks with him way more than the conversation he'd had with the appearantly magical book that was now suddenly in his possesion.

Surprisingly enough, being exiled from your home by your best friend, losing all of the people you thought you could count on, and being emotionally manipulated by the only person who hasn't left you yet can make one a little desperate.
Tommy doesn't give up on people.
And that is his fatal weakness.
Or, an unstable Tommy ditches his exile, stows away in his anarchist brother's retirement cottage, terrorizes said brother immensely, and finds himself at his own funeral.

And now he and his brother have been dragged into the mess, as Elementalists with their own, separate covens, to find the Pit - the place where he'd lived and killed and hurt for the first twelve years of his life.
His coven can't know. Can't know who he really is, what he can really do. Can't know anything about his past.
He doesn't want a coven full of Elementalists who don't trust him; one of whom he's pretty sure despises him. He doesn't want that life.
He wants the life of a pickpocket, on the streets, because nobody questions street kids, and nobody comes asking about his past and pushes him to tell his secrets that he holds closest inside.
Tubbo tries to tell him to trust people.
But trust is how you die.
