Stuck sharing a dingy motel room in Night City, the tension between Kerry and Johnny finally snaps, and suddenly, they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other.
“You think I don’t see it?” Kerry panted between kisses, breath warm on Johnny’s neck. “The way you look at me on stage. Like you’re starving.”
Johnny grabbed the back of Kerry’s neck and kissed him again, deeper this time. Filthy, open-mouthed, no space between them. “Shut the fuck up,” he growled.
Kerry smirked against his lips. “Make me.”

“Dammit. Why, sunshine, why didn’t you tell me? I could help. You know I could help. Before this– before it came to this, got this bad.”
He hauled himself into a seated position, gently grasping at their shoulders as he tried to do the same for them, guiding their weak body to rest back against the dried stump behind them.
“What was it, sweetheart?“ He drew a calloused hand up to their face, wiping it free of dust as his desperate voice carried out into the bleakness of the wasteland.
"Which one was it? Maybe I got it, but I don’t wanna overdo it with ya, don’t wanna give ya the wrong thing, make for a bad reaction. You just gotta tell me this one thing, I promise, you know I can’t judge you for it. No one else needs to know, I’ve always got your back, you know that.”

Summary
John had just fallen asleep when he heard it. The racket of pots and pans, followed by the crack! of a broken bone.
He’s pretty sure that noise will be ingrained in his brain forever, accompanied by the sight he’d run downstairs to see:Sherlock, face down on the kitchen floor, clearly having tripped on something. The blood dripping from the counter corner, and rapidly pooling around his head.
It plays out on repeat in his head as he sits in the hospital waiting room, like a broken record.
