If she could, she would go back to that grimy old bar again and pummel the fucking creepy old guy to death because WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK! The dick was the one who had spread the curse to her bloodline and who had abandoned Marianne, her great-great-great-great-great-great-whatever, at the altar, so why was she being punished for it?! She wanted to believe that this was just a drug-addled hallucination from a particularly strong puff from her daily supply. But as much as she wanted this to remain a side-effect of drug use, it wasn't.
And it never would be.
So she would smile her fucking face off, pretend that everything was okay, and survive this madness. She had to walk down that fucking aisle and face it.
