Summary
This was not what Clark had heard. This was not what Clark was prepared for. He’d braced himself for someone unreasonable and glib, charismatic but ultimately with no depth. The man standing in front of him was— Clark wasn’t sure what he was. But it was not that.
“You,” he ventured, “love this city very much, don’t you?”
Wayne didn’t tear his eyes away from the skyline, seemingly contemplating something.
“I do,” he said finally, then turned back to Clark. “Mr Kent. Do I know you?”
and so this is how one spell, gone wrong, leads to Superman's and Batman's memories being erased, which then leads to Clark and Bruce tumbling headfirst into a friends with benefits situation, which then spirals even more rapidly from there.

When the League tries to bring in a thief with stolen reality-shifting technology, Clark is accidentally exchanged with his counterpart from a universe that's almost identical—except he's married to Lois. In this one, Bruce was only planning to neutralize an interdimensional threat. He didn’t plan on a rescue mission. He didn’t plan to take home a hurt, broken captive who may or may not be a version of the Clark Kent he knows. But now that he has, he needs to figure out what to do with him without putting the whole planet at risk.
It takes Clark a while to realize he hasn’t just traded one abuser for another, more dangerous one.
