However, he'd soon find out that Joofy was having far from a peaceful rest, even though it seemed like it at first from the outside. He started to move again after some time, his legs gradually spreading apart until they pressed against the edges of the minecart. His head shifted a little too, and maybe Cinder was imagining it, but it seemed like he was leaning into Cinder's touch while still being asleep.
Joofy made a sound. It was a soft, breathy sigh, and it was subtle enough that Cinder didn't think anything of it at first. He saw Joofy shifting his legs again, and, interpreting it as Joofy being unable to get himself comfortable, started to stroke Joofy's hair again in hopes that his touch would relax him once more.
But instead, it caused to Joofy to make another noise, and this time it couldn't be ignored.

Or, Cinder and Joofy make a compromise in order for both of them to fit into the minecart to escape, and after that, shenanigans ensue.

Even if there's nothing to be seen, your touch I still feel in my dreams.
The first thing he sees are chains. Netherite chains that shine against the darkness of oblivion, so wide it was like the sky but so dark it couldn't be called a sky at all. He was floating over a limitless void, his movements restricted little to none, hands and feet binded to the endless space. The shards of amethyst crystals levitated before him, reflecting his pathetic appearance, mirroring the irony of his position. After all, he used to be somebody. Now, he's not even alive anymore.
Of course his punishment just had to shoot an arrow through his dignity and pride, shattering the image of himself he'd built for years. Of course his last act diminished his chance at becoming someone better than he already was. Of course he was too blind.
For a while, he saw nothing.
Then, he saw something.

He's just watching as Evbo messes with the command block, attempting to figure out a new building design. Seawatt didn't say much when he came up here. A simple "hello, Evbo" and an inquiry about what he's up to is all he's said so far. He's standing close enough that Evbo can faintly feel heat radiating off him. He quickly and subtly glances back at him—as subtle as Evbo can get, anyway—and furrows his brows. Seawatt is staring at the back of his head. Is there something wrong with his hair? He turns back and scratches his head, brushing the tails of his headband to rest on his shoulder. Evbo is a god; why does he feel so self-conscious?
