Summary

Although things get off to a bad start, the connection he forms with his letter mate slowly becomes unbreakable. That is until he gets too close and strikes a nerve.

Summary
John MacTavish hasn't seen Simon Riley since the day Simon rushed him to a London trauma center... and then walked away. The absence made John's road to recovery all the more agonizing, but luckily, the rest of the 141 along with other friends and family filled the hole left by a ghost.
Now, three and a half years later, John finally has his life together. He works for the MOD (and the CIA... ahem) as a civilian demolitions consultant. He's got a house, a (mostly) clear head, and most importantly, a date with someone new to his best mate's wedding.
John's ecstatic to be standing up as Kyle's best man. Unfortunately, it also means standing in the same room as a certain Lieutenant. It's okay, though. For Kyle's sake, John can keep all the anger and hurt festering inside of him in check. All he has to do is avoid Simon for the next few hours, and they'll go their separate ways.
Too bad Simon has other plans that, unbeknownst to either of them, will change their lives forever.

You joined the forces in hopes of being a sniper, but you spend more time doing infiltration and detonation; we contacted a Lieutenant who has been looking for new troop members whose team specializes in those things. Maybe you will do better under him,” the man before him says. “We issued your transfer to be tomorrow. Pack your stuff, soldier. Hope your future is bright.”
He gets up, and walks to the door behind König’s back, patting his shoulder on the way out. The sudden touch makes König flinch, as if the premise of being in a new place, meeting new people, under a new Lieutenant: it makes König dread the day that comes after. And that sounds like a blatant disgrace to anyone in his spot, because for a man who just feared being discharged, it is an honor for him to simply be transferred.
But that’s who König thinks himself to be. An ungrateful bastard who knows nothing but to hide, and then take– a never-ending cycle of eating his own tail.
He scurries out of the cell-like room, glancing at the cameras as he leaves.

Ever since they have departed after bringing Nami back, the Cook has been spending an awful lot of time in the kitchen, learning the space and organizing the mess they have managed to make this far.
All the while loudly bitching about it.
Cooks in kitchens weren’t something that unusual, Zoro supposed but cooks in kitchens singing praises to witches and love poems to witches and confessions to witches?
No.
He has just walked into the very place he wanted to avoid and unceremoniously dumped the still moving fish into the sink, when-
“What the hell are you doing here?” And there he was, with an unlit cigarette dangling from between his lips, hands buried deep inside his pockets.
“I got fish.” Zoro grunted in response and not paying the still twitching fish in the sink any mind, proceeded to wash his hands.
“At least kill it first, fuck,” Sanji pushed Zoro aside with a well-placed knee kick. “Or put it in a bucket, you cruel brute. It doesn’t have to suffer like this.”
“It’s a fish.”
“What an incredibly incredible speck of intelligence you’ve got there, marimo. It’s a fish.”

Ghost arches a critical, amused brow just to watch MacTavish scowl. “Well, there’s your problem, sir. Maybe if you stopped fuckin’ women half your size you’d be gettin’ somewhere past the halfway mark.”
“And you’re suggestin’ what — that I find some girl and stick my prick up her arse?”
“It has to be a woman?”
MacTavish stares at him, struck silent. Ghost inches his knees apart and tries and fails to keep the smirk off his lips when his captain’s eyes drop. He watches as MacTavish’s throat bobs, swallowing heavily before he rasps, “I’m not gay, Riley.”
Ghost nods easily. He doesn’t spit the word, at least, doesn’t cringe away at the mere suggestion. Just a statement: he’s not gay, so he hasn’t considered asking a man. “‘S alright,” he grins, lilts his tone into something blithe and oblivious as he bends his knee, frames the bulge in his leggings just so — “More for me, I suppose.”

There’s no response, and Sanji shakes his head. Reluctantly, he reaches out to prod at Zoro’s leg, his fingers dipping in amongst the rumbled fabric of his pants until he finds the hard muscle of his thigh.
“Marimo,” he tries again, jabbing at Zoro a little rougher. “Marimo.”
Zoro lets out a chest rumbling snore in response.
Or, after suffering from a nightmare, Sanji finds solace in Zoro's, albeit unassuming, arms.

Summary
Ghost tries to push him down onto the bed, but Soap doesn’t budge, and instead he’s pushing Ghost down, climbing atop and over him.
“..This is new.” Ghost points out, flat but somehow curious. Ghost always has an interesting way of speaking, there’s emotion behind words and tones that sound emotionless.
Ghost is odd. Soap loves that about him.
Soap smiles, nods, “Change of pace,” he replies, sitting so he’s framing Ghost’s hips with his legs, straddling him, “Is.. that okay?”
Ghost eyes run from the bottom of Soap’s body to the top, taking him in. Then he nods, silent but affirming.
“Good.” Soap grins, lightly moving his hips, teasing at friction and letting his hands slide beneath Ghost’s shirt. Ghost tends to run cold, Soap has discovered, which is fun, because Soap runs warm, and watching Ghost react to that warmth is always adorable. He shivers in response to Soap’s hands, lets out a low sound, something akin to a hum.
