Summary
The first time was a complete accident. Aziraphale hadn't planned to summon Crawly, he'd just wanted to see what the spell did.
The second time was mostly an accident. Aziraphale hadn't meant to summon Crowley, just... got the circle drawn. For practice. It made sense to his tipsy mind.
The third time was deliberate. As were all the others.
(Or Aziraphale summoning Crowley through the Ages. There's a reason he has a phone in the bookshop and Crowley will rant endlessly about why he got it put in)

This is for the GOMM Gift Exchange 2024. Tossukka wanted a story about why snake Crowley doesn’t like winter, and how Aziraphale helps warm him up.
On a snowy evening in 1860 London, Aziraphale spies what he thinks is a black ribbon outside his shop. But when he picks it up, he realizes that it is Crowley, near frozen to death. He takes the small creature inside to warm him and protect him from the townspeople, who are on the hunt for a card-cheating demon.

The customer slowly relaxes, arms falling back to his sides, shoulders moving to their usual position. As he does so, he also starts moving closer to Crowley, who narrows his eyes at the human’s hand, moving independently closer, but allows it.
“Say… is the snake used to being handled?” asks the human.

Summary
Crowley had ended up doing himself a favor by so quickly pulling together his initial plan to sneak into the estate as a snake, because now it meant he had a little bit more time to play with before Lucifer and the gang got impatient. Still, he didn't have forever to get his assignment done. He needed to build trust between himself and the guardian fast and efficiently if he wanted the addendum to his plan to work. And that meant love bombing.
OR
Crowley's a mage-thief tasked with stealing a Powerful Artifact from some rich arsehole’s walled estate, and the first obstacle is getting past the fearsome beasts guarding the only viable entrances. Luckily, the guardian of the eastern gate seems like a soft touch, and Crowley is very good at shapeshifting, so he's pretty sure he's found his poor bastard of a mark. Things do not go according to plan.

In a matter of moments Crowley's corporation shifted entirely to her snake self and began a sinuous glide up Aziraphale's body. Cool scales, black and red, shifted and caught the light in their shiny surfaces as she slithered her way up Aziraphale's legs and coiled around one arm. Then, apparently unsatisfied with how much of her length still rested on the floor, Crowley wound her way behind Aziraphale's back, around her neck, and over her shoulders, until as much of her body was in contact with Aziraphale as she could achieve. The thickest part of her tail wrapped solidly around Aziraphale's torso, like a warm full body hug.
Crowley's snout bumped against Aziraphale's chin. "Do I have your attention now?" she asked.
