Will the Wise appears before everyone, confused on why his friends are wearing such strange garbs and what dungeon he has stumbled into. Meanwhile, Will finds himself surrounded by fantastical versions of his friends clad in armor and robes somewhere far, far from Hawkins. The party now has a new mission to figure out how to get their Wills switched back around, and Mike needs to figure out what this feeling in his chest is all about.

Air steadily escapes Mike’s lungs as he stares at the wall’s wood paneling. All he can offer is a weak, “Huh?”
Will’s gentle laugh reaches through to him. “I want to visit you. While I’ve got the time. Is that okay? Is—Is two weeks too long?”
Two weeks is nothing compared to the three years since they’ve seen each other.
Mike snaps back to mind. His grip tightens on both the phone and the mug’s handle. “Yes—yeah, of course that’s okay. Two weeks is perfect. It’s just… nobody else is in town right now. I’m not particularly entertaining on my own.”
“I’m not looking to be entertained, Mike. I want to see you. It’s been too long.”
“Okay…” He swallows. “Okay, yeah. Come on over.”
Mike lives alone in a house he bought in Hawkins, and he’s gotten quite used to his life as a successful hermitic writer. After landing a job, Will decides he wants to spend two weeks with him before his start date. Not only does Mike have to adjust to being around someone 24/7 again, but that someone is Will.

The smaller man ended up nodding without even noticing. Wheeler's long finger slid through his jaw to the back of his hair, caressing it as he was pulled in. Their lips touched at first, just softly pressing. But, fuck, that was more then enough to get Will to purr and pull Mike in by the hair, deepening the kiss.
