Summary
“Well this is awkward,” Jimin announces. “Don’t you guys still have fun?”
“Of course we do, we still love each other.”
“Yeah,” Namjoon agrees. “Everything is great. Maybe we’re just, um, not as young as we used to be.”
“Right,” Jimin says, raising an eyebrow. “Well, I’m sure it’s not like you only have missionary sex.”
“In the dark under the covers,” Taehyung chimes in.
“Scheduled once a week on Saturdays or something,” Jimin adds.
Silence. Yoongi is, suddenly, very aware that things maybe have become like that.

Jimin and Taehyung goading causes Namjoon and Yoongi to feel like they may have gotten a little boring. A decision to experiment leads to unintended and often uncomfortable consequences.

“Did you just call him hot?”
Yoongi stiffens. “No, of course not, don’t talk to me.”

Summary
There is silence between them while Yoongi stares, while he scans every contour and detail of Namjoon’s face. And he searches his mind, trying to match this Namjoon to any scrap or recollection. Trying to find what everyone tells him should be there, over a decade of memories. Familiarity, comfort, love. But there is only a blank space.
“I don’t remember you,” Yoongi whispers.
Namjoon nods and bows his head, folding over the hands clasped in his lap. “I know I can’t convince you that we’re together, that we have been. But we are, Yoongi.” He peeks up at Yoongi, eyes pleading. “We have a life together, we love each other.”
And Yoongi still stares, something in his chest aching at the desperate, hopeful expression on Namjoon’s face. But there is nothing there.
“I’m sorry.”

“Why do you let him get to you like that?” Taehyung questions.
“I don’t know. He’s just…” Namjoon trails off, shaking his head.
“I’ve never seen anyone get under your skin like this,” Taehyung points out. “What is it about Min Yoongi?”
If Namjoon knew that, maybe he could get the fuck over it. Maybe it’s Yoongi’s talent, how he looks so effortless owning the stage. Or maybe it’s something else. All Namjoon knows is - “He’s an asshole.”

Namjoon has had enough of Min Yoongi. The smug and cocky rapper always seems to know what to say to get under Namjoon’s skin to rile him up. All Namjoon wants is to defeat him, show Yoongi he belongs there so he’ll finally shut up. But then Namjoon finds Yoongi in an alley, beaten and bloody. Helping Yoongi isn’t easy, especially when it forces Namjoon to confront his own demons to find where he really belongs.
