She reached out a hand and rubbed at the top of Kakyoin’s head. It was weird but comforting.
“You’ve been in a coma for about twelve years, dear.”
Kakyoin’s mind felt blank. He wasn’t sure what he was thinking.
“Oh.”

Alternatively, after about twelve years, Kakyoin finally awakes from a coma. Unfortunately for him, his old friends believe him to be dead, and they're rather difficult to find.

The rays of light were hitting his eyes just right, making them look like they were shining from within, each facet a different and beautiful shade. He was dripping in color, in good looks, in all of those metaphors that he didn’t know and couldn’t think of, and he was drowning, drowning in his wide open expression and beauty and fuck, Katsuki had never felt this way before.
Something he thought Katsuki would like? Well, there was only one thing he could think of right now that he wanted.

Prompto was the first one to let him know that they weren't done with the whole hand slipped incident. Noct caught him taking a very unflattering picture of him being slapped in the face by a fish tail before the fish he had caught dove back into the lake. “Did you really just take a picture of that?” he asked. Posterity did not need to see him like that. There was absolutely no reason why Prompto had to take a picture of him at such an embarrassing moment.

“Don’t tell me it wouldn’t be super awesome to talk through the wall! Like a bro code!” Kirishima beams and taps his knee against Bakugou’s before settling back down on the cheetah-print comforter.
Bakugou sighs heavily, but Kirishima notices the soft upturn of his lips and the crinkles forming at the edges of his eyes at the suggestion, so he doesn’t refrain from laughing softly. Bakugou ‘tch’s, “Fine, if you really want to. Don’t say I don’t do anything for you, hair-for-brains.”

Todoroki really is the prettiest boy in class-- up close like this, Kaminari's constant prattling on attractiveness a strong influence in the back of his head, it's hard not to see. More than just the altogether aesthetically pleasing features-- even including the scar, which is its own strange sort of beauty mark-- there's kind of an unearthliness to his quiet, solemnity and restraint in the stillness of a teenage boy that's otherworldly, like one of the paintings that'd be on display. The one with the fox in front of the moon, an elegant silhouette clear against a dark shroud of fog and mist.
"Is something wrong?" Todoroki asks, and Hanta flushes with the realization he'd been spending the last minute contemplating Todoroki's face.
"Your eye is just-- it's really blue," Hanta sputters out, looking away as he combs his hand through his hair.
Sero and Todoroki run into each other at a museum and realize they both really like traditional art, so it becomes something of a regular thing.Dates, to Todoroki.
It takes Hanta a while longer to catch up on that part.
