Summary
In a visual binary star system the brighter star is called the primary star, and the dimmer is considered the secondary. In some publications (especially older ones), a faint secondary is called the comes (companion). The orbit of the binary system can be calculated during an eclipse with the help of the stellar parallax.

"What's wrong?" Dan Heng can't help blurting out.
"I miss them," Caelus mumbles, his head against the cold window. Ever the naive innocent angel to speak his mind, he doesn't hide anything from his family that he had made for himself on the astral express.
"Don't you?" Dan Heng could lie, could have made Caelus feel better but he never wants to deceive his star, the burning in his soul refuses to let him, as if it were fire borne from Caelus himself, demanding utter devotion that Dan Heng is prone to give up readily.
Dan Heng shakes his head and leans against the window to still look at Caelus who stares at him from the corner of his eyes.
"I miss you."

Summary
There weren't a lot of things that truly scared Pure Vanilla.
Yes, he had the normal, average fears like losing his loved ones. Or of hurting those he cared about. However, those were normal.
But... one thing he had never been able to shake was his fear of cages. Shackles didn't bother him much, but bars encircling him from all angles made his chest tighten with raw, primal fear.
He knew why this was, of course, but had long since left that part of his past behind.
However, one night... something prompts him to finally open up about what exactly happened that dreaded week.

Summary
The Sage of Truth could admit he ached to see Truthless Recluse show up in his office again. Just one tryst wasn't nearly enough to satisfy his desires. If anything, it made them worse, now that he knew what taste to imagine on his tongue and what sounds to replay in his mind. Restraint was a burden, but one he found himself willing to bear, if it meant his darling student would make the next move.
But when Recluse did finally show up with complaints about how long it was taking for him to return homework grades, Sage could certainly find it in him to hammer home the importance of patience.

Summary
Wandering throughout the Spire, Truthless shudders restlessly. His wings are itchy, ruffling around as he stalks through forbidden halls. He can't help himself when he finds it. A beautiful ivory fabric with golden embroidered eyes that gleamed—he needs it. So, despite the punishment that would surely await his thieving hands, he takes the linen. It makes a lovely centerpiece for his bed, along with the other pillows and blankets and Shadow Milk plush.
His heat had taken him by surprise, a logical explanation to the growing throb in his chest. But it doesn't make sense—he'd planned his trip to beast yeast around his mating cycle, and the cold of the Spire did nothing to help his instincts. So why? Why was this happening to him?
Shadow Milk finds Truthless in this state, curled into a nest of blankets. Instead of leaving—of running—he finds himself staying. Preening Recluse's neglected wings comes easy; he'd had plenty of practice helping Eternal Sugar with her own pair, before their corruption and eventual imprisonment. It's a simple task, brushing out dust and pulling off broken feathers.
But Truthless won't be content with just preening for long.

For the supposed bearer of Truth, Pure Vanilla Cookie is captivating in his self-imposed ignorance. The other alpha hasn’t noticed the creeping change of his scent, while it had always had an unusual sweetness to it, the once earthy undertones of black tea have lightened, turned to the subtle fruitiness of a camellia on the cusp of blooming. But, Shadow Milk has no interest in plucking this particular flower early. No, he’ll have him overripe, tender flesh leaking juices at the slightest touch, overpowering in his sweetness, pungent to the point of verging on rot. He will have his Truthless Recluse, his silly Nilly flayed open and desperate, so broken down by foreign instincts that he won’t know up from down, much less what he should or should not want.
Any day now, his first heat will be upon him, and he will beg for Shadow Milk to take him, to knot and claim him, to finish his transformation into the perfect doll.

Then Healer Cookie awoke to his memories as Pure Vanilla Cookie, the ancient Hero of Truth.
What happened...what happened to his dear Fount?
Maybe he'll find the answers as he retraces White Lily's steps in Beast-Yeast.
