Summary
Blade had learned long ago that his body was not his own.
It had been broken, stitched together, and broken again until it was nothing but a weapon, a vessel to obey orders and endure punishment for his sin. He had given himself to hands meant to wound, tear, or destroy — never once questioning their intent; never once expecting kindness or mercy.
So when hands touched him now — not to harm, but to soothe, to linger, to ask permission — he didn’t know what to do with that. He accepted it in silence, as he always did. If pleasure emerged, he’d let it. But he never asked for it. Desire, after all, was for people. Not for weapons.

"He was in his basket last night,” Blade muttered, voice low and rough.
“Mmhm. Was,” Sampo said, propping his chin in his hand as he watched the pup twitch in some dream. Carefully, Sampo reached out to nudge the pup’s flank with one finger. “C’mon, little guy. Rise and shine. Time to greet the day, or at least breakfast.”
The only response was a sleepy whine and a dramatic roll onto his side, presenting them with his back as if to say: Absolutely not.

“Well, well,” he said, voice low and rasping, though a smirk tugged at his lips. “If you’re looking for a second round, I should warn you — I’m not as ancient as Bladie, but even I’ve got limits.”
Her laugh came soft, amused, with just enough edge to make him feel like she was indulging him rather than truly entertained. Kafka tilted her head so he could see the faint curve of her smile, violet eyes opening just enough to catch his expression.
“Relax,” she murmured, shifting slightly to rest her chin against his sternum. “I only wanted to talk.”
Sampo raised an eyebrow, lips quirking. “Talk? After last night? Dangerous choice of timing.” He sighed dramatically and let his hand flop down against the sheets. “I was hoping for at least a few hours of recovery before we got to the interrogations.”
