One by one, the teambonding practises stop as they all turn to Kageyama to gape. Play volleyball without telepathy? It’s not that it’s not possible, but that would put them at such a major disadvantage it’d be like having a team full of one-sided Kageyamas.
They’d be brilliant, but they’d never get further than the court that they stand on.
“Don’t be silly, bakageyama. It’s just a minor link,” Hinata waves his hands and laughs. “We won't even know your favourite colour.”
“Then what's the point?” Kageyama turns, almost viciously, onto him.

Wrong, Kageyama said immediately.
Hinata gaped at nothing, wounded.
Tsukishima looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, the corner of his mouth lifted in a smirk. “He said no, didn’t he.”
“Shut up,” Hinata said, trying not to pout. He knelt to dress his kill. Jerk, he said to Kageyama, who was still too busy being smug and pissed at Tsukishima by turns to pay him any mind. What good’s an AI that doesn’t even have my back?

He had long, dark lashes and a finely shaped, straight nose, and low cheekbones with a proud jawline, all of which started to fill out some sort of stereotypical profile for a rugged jungle king.
