Summary
Only the war could have brought Hollywood star Jyn Erso and soldier Captain Cassian Andor together. A chance meeting at the Hollywood Canteen in 1943 blossomed into something more. But years of war and its horrors shatter everything, and not every shard can be recovered.
This fic was inspired by "Frankly, My Dear Captain Andor" by randomdreamer01 and I highly suggest you read it. This is my attempt at continuing that story, because it left some interesting possibilities. I've also heavily referenced music of the 1940s throughout this fic.

Baze lives for Sunday night dinners, watching the kids help around the kitchen like they always used to do. Bodhi’s chopping up bell peppers with the brightest smile on his face, listening to the bickering between Jyn and Cassian who are both shredding cheese. Kay remains focused on kneading the pizza base, occasionally throwing in his sarcastic two cents, and Chirrut—
“You guys wanna hear a joke?” His husband chirps from his spot on top of the island counter top. The kids simultaneously groan, and Baze has to fight the grin itching to grow on his lips. “What cheese always feels alone?”
“Gee, I don’t know.” Jyn says dryly. “What?” She turns around, arms crossed, and even though her eyebrows are knitted and her lips are pressed tightly together, it’s ridiculously obvious that she’s also fighting a smile, and Chirrut… Chirrut laughs.
“Provalone.”
OR… the Modern AU where Baze and Chirrut are happily married and adopt four kids over the course of their adulthood and everyone is happy in a family that’s not exactly built on the conventional, but hey man, it works.

Summary
There’s an invisible calendar in his brain that marks certain dates of relevance. Not for everything- if everything he ever did was marked, he wouldn't sleep or eat or even survive. But there are still times where something marked him as a person. Oddly enough, the governors assasination had nothing of relevance. He did much worse and much better than that. It was a clean kill, by his standards. It was mindless.
But today he remembers the day as some form of mockery, karma. The universe likes to play jokes on him that way.
Or in which Cassian remembers a past asignment he did before Rouge One and has to rely on his partners to survive the trauma.

The war is supposedly over, and Rogue One has retired. The Guardians have a new Temple; Jyn has a farm nearby that she shares with Bodhi and Cassian. Things are finally calm... so why is Cassian starting to hallucinate that the dead are after him? As his symptoms progress the others end up having to face their own darkness in order to save Cassian.

"You are not shooting me."
There's a large crack running down the droid's torso, exposing wires and leaking some mechanical fluid. There's a hole, the familiar round and charred hole left by blasterfire, in its left shoulder. One of its arms is lying on the floor on the other side of the room.
"You're not a threat," Cassian finds himself saying. He should be leaving, should have got the hell out of there as soon as the droid showed signs of life - if the droid is functional enough for speech it's functional enough to alert its allies - but something is keeping him rooted to the spot.
That feeling, maybe. Trusting his gut hasn't got him killed yet.
In which Cassian rescues a broken Imperial droid, or maybe an Imperial droid rescues a broken Cassian. It's somewhat hard to tell.

Summary
Trapped, injured and determined to succeed, Cassian's choices are limited. He can do nothing and die for sure, or he can try something crazy and only maybe die. Neither option really appeals to him, but with the Alliance counting on him, is there really a choice? The answer is no.
There's a 92% chance of death, the droid informs him. The 8% chance of friendship remains unspoken.
Prequel to Rogue One and "Don't Leave Me Now." Can be read as a stand alone. How Cassian and K-2SO first met.

Summary
Cassian would have killed the girl's pet, once. He would have prioritized finishing the mission, even if it meant traumatized the child whose life he was trying to save.
With the rest of Rogue One at his side, he can't be that person--won't be that person. But that means when they're about to be captured, one of them has to sacrifice himself so the others can get away. There wasn't ever any question who that would be, at least not in Cassian's mind.

There was a Keef in Massassi Group, under another wing of Draven’s command.
“Is that your real name?” Cassian had asked upon their first meeting.
A confused, nervous look greeted him in turn, twitchy eyes darting between him and where Draven was halfway across the room listening in on incoming encryptions. “Is this a test?”
Because it was a joke, but only to himself. Which perhaps meant it wasn’t a joke at all; certainly made for a bad one, at any rate.

He blinked and peered up through his lashes, let the tension in is posture and face melt away and, with it, years of his appearance so that he looked like the kid he still was, would have been, should have been, had the Empire not snatched away any vestige of youthful innocence and carved him into something hard and bitter well before his time.
It was not lost on Brasso that the transformation was an act, a front, a tactic; it was still unsettling to watch. More unsettling was the quiet, unassuming, “What do you want?” in a tone Brasso had not before heard spit from his all-too-cutting mouth.

“They already gave us this pitch on Mimban,” Cassian broke in flatly. “I’m not interested.”
He turned and made it two steps. “Wait. Please, Cassian - wait.” With a heavy sigh he paused. “Where will you go?”
“Maybe I just want to go home.”
Her next words sent a chill down his spine. “Rakif said you might be from Kenari?”
“Nobody’s from Kenari,” he corrected bitterly with a dull glance over his shoulder. “Check my record. I’m from Fest.”
