Less than a half hour later, Hank had Jesse caught between a rock and a hard spot, had obligated him to record a confession for which Pinkman would reap the consequences if they couldn’t make them stick to Walt. Hank had coerced the kid into staying in Hank's own home, under the guise of protecting him, when really, it was only Hank who stood to gain anything from illegally holding the kid against his will and drugging him into oblivion to ensure he’d cooperate and give the desired performance the next day.
