Sophie hums, carefully placing more flowers onto her own hat and pinning them in place. Eliza sighs, placing the unfinished hat on a stand and leans her arms on the table.
“Am I dreaming too big?” She softly asks, looking down at her ring. “What if they don’t share my dream of going off in the great wide… somewhere?”
“You have beautiful dreams, Eliza. I believe you’ll go on an adventure someday; soulmate or not.” Sophie says softly, placing her finished hat on a stand and turning to her friend. “And when you do, I hope you will take me with you.”
