Now, he looked like a total mess. His face was pale and splotchy, tears he hadn’t even felt staining his cheeks. His hair was smushed on one side and fluffy on the other. His pants were damp with sweat and had dragged down lower on his hips, revealing one of Kon’s few scars. He was shaking so badly that he could see it.
Superpowers or no, he felt like his legs were about to give out."

oh look! it's my favourite genre of fanfiction - Kon-centric and realizing the effects of Tana Moon's grooming on him!
no but this is seriously so good. Kon not knowing or understanding what has been done to him is so realistic. I don't think he ever really would process what happened - not fully - unless somebody forced him to. and Tim, gently and accidentally, did exactly that.
also - it's got an open hopeful ending. I love it. healing isn't something easy and Kon is so confused but he knows he has support in Tim. and that's beautiful. -

Summary
He’d kept it together enough to give the speech he’d been allotted. He couldn’t remember anything he said, but he’d said it well enough that people hadn’t thrown tomatoes at him or something so it must have been okay. Kon’s fine. He’s completely, totally fine.
He takes a deep breath and looks in the mirror of his Metropolis apartment’s bathroom.
Kal stares back at him.
Kon handles it. He punches the mirror and screams in anguish.
He comes back to himself with his hands clutching the sink so hard it’s cracking and a spiderweb of cracked glass on Kal’s shoulder. He tries not to think about how it mirrored the spiderwebbing cracks all over Kal’s body when John Henry pulled him from the wreckage.
Kon can’t bring himself to keep looking and drops his gaze to where he has a vice grip on the sink.
The funeral was today. He said goodbye to Kal forever. That’s why he’s seeing Kal in the mirror. His brain is just . . . showing him as a last goodbye. That’s all.
Or: Clark's dead, and Kon's standing in as Superman for him. But is Clark really dead?

Summary
It all happened so fast.
One moment, he's charging in alongside Kal and Kara and John Henry and Natasha. The next moment, everything falls away.
He can't sense anything.
It's like he's floating in an endless void, cut off from the world. He'll be lost in this shapeless expanse of nothing forever. Kon screams, but he can't feel the air pouring forth from his lungs. There's no sensation of anything and he'll be trapped in this senseless hell until the universe winks out.
OR: During a fight, Kon gets hit with a collar meant to restrain metahumans, blocking his TTK.

The bass hums through his body, reverberating in his lungs and buzzing between his teeth. Superboy can feel the air particles vibrating, caught between a hundred dancing bodies. Colored lights flash: red, yellow, blue. He grins, lowers his sunglasses, and winks at the light technician. She blushes and ducks her head, and he raises them back into place with a grin and a waggle of his eyebrows. Another fan, and who can blame her? Superboy was always a hit with the ladies.
Robin had been worried for nothing.

Summary
An AU where Tim was imprisoned by Black Mask for most of his adolescence, trained to be his successor. His reintroduction to Gotham - and to Gotham's vigilantes - could go a little smoother. At least enough of his morality sticks around that he can probably consider himself safe from being a supervillain.
Though he isn't quite sure he qualifies for "superhero," either.

Summary
Living in a tiny bubble frozen in time was not Kon's definition of a good life, but it wasn't like he'd had a choice in the matter. Everything he had known and loved vanished in an instant when the universe rearranged itself, leaving him stranded in an imitation of the Kent farm for, however long. He didn't think time really existed there.
Then one moment there was a break in the shield that kept him safe. Trapped. He didn't think too much about it when he stepped through. Bart had often said that his devil-may-care attitude would one day leave him in more trouble than he could handle.
In the blink of an eye, he found himself in a painfully familiar city. Gotham looked every bit as grimy and shady as he remembered, there were some differences, the technology was more advanced, but the people were just as he recalled. Honestly, he was glad the tiny crack had spat him out in Gotham and not Metropolis or Kansas. He didn't think he could stomach seeing the faces of who had been his family and have them look at him like a stranger.
He knew the Bats wouldn't look twice at another face on the streets unless he called attention to himself. That would have to work to his advantage. -
