This is my Whumptober 2026 archive. None of these things are beta read, let alone proofread. I'm also actively falling asleep while writing these. I may rewrite them and make them good at some point in the future, but idk. If I do I'll keep the first chapter the same and just add the other one. I genuinely don't remember writing most of all these fics

A soulmate is always your perfect bond. Not to say a perfect bond is without strife. Some say meeting your soulmate means completing the very code of your soul while others say it just adds onto who you are as a person. Your soulmate pushes you in ways you need, bettering you usually. Sometimes it's a "these two are freaks who deserve each other" way.
Ze never thought he'd meet his soulmate, unfortunately this is not true.

I think I might have a tiny crush on Wifies but I don’t really have time to process all that right now.

“ZE OH MY GOD, ZE!!” A sudden shout is quick to break the silence, because of course it does, “I know you said you were napping or whatever but you’re not going to believe.. OH MY GOD?!“ Z was about to shout at the entity to fuck off, to let himself fall against the sorted blankets and pass out, but when he turns a panicked squawk immediately leaves his throat.
Because instead of seeing the closed door he thought he locked.. it’s wide open.
Regect standing in that opened space.

Staring at his wings.

“…Ze?” The entity’s voice sounds out again, but quieter this time, more cautious, “How did.. holy shit.. are those wings?!”

Butterflies were weird, delicate creatures.
They'd naturally travel towards more warm locations, bask in the sun, not walk on certain things to avoid sour tastes, linger around puddles after the rain to drink, and had such gorgeous, shiny wings, displaying such beautyful patterns to attract friends and ward off foes.
At least, that's what Yellow noticed about Blue.
Butterflies and Flowers and Humans had so many things in common, things none of them truly understood. Like whatever was going on today.
Blue wasn't acting very Blue today.

Ze needs to leave. Fate has turned his life into something unpredictable- but he hopes- no, he KNOWS- that he'll be back. He has to come back. He can't see himself slipping away from Regect so easily. Not when he has so much he wants to say.

Regect doesn't understand why Ze is going to be gone. His doubts sneak in easily like water leaking through cracked glass. He thought he had so much time left to figure everything out- to figure HIMSELF out- but now he only has a week until Ze leaves. A week until he's left waiting again.
And yet, he's still not sure if his own truth is worth being the driving factor that keeps Ze gone- or if he would rather hold in his own pain until Ze (hopefully) returns.They both have a week before everything becomes too little and far too late.
