Ice and Mav are mated, with Mav still flying combat. One day Maverick goes MIA, his plane shot down over enemy territory. Few days later frantic Kazansky is in command centre when he is told there is a message for him from a terrorist group the Navy has been hunting down. Their Alpha leader says that he has Ice’s husband and a surprise. Kazansky then hears something unusual. The other Alpha is playing the sound of a heartbeat from a sonogram. Maverick is pregnant and neither of them knew before he flew the mission.
Bonus points: the Alpha leader took a shine to Maverick (a soldier Omega, fertile and strong enough to not miscarry despite ejection and captivity) and can’t help but brag to Ice how many strong pups Mav is going to give him.
Extra bonus points if Kazansky goes feral and the fellow Admirals need to try and calm him down.
Eternal love if the Alpha leader allows Maverick to briefly speak to Ice and Mav is apologizing to his mate for putting their pup in danger.Please read the tags before proceeding. This is a very dark story with explicit scenes.

Summary
Rooster is injured while ejecting from his F-18 after saving Maverick's life. Maverick finds him and is determined to get his kid home, even if it kills him. When the two aviators are captured by Russian scouts while resting, a sadistic general notices the paternal care that Maverick has for the younger man. He finds out that they don't know very much, but he's not going to just let them leave unharmed. How does Mav react when the Admiral seems to enjoy hurting Rooster a little too much? Can he find a way out before it's too late or will be have to watch another Bradshaw die?
Loosely based on the song Forest Fire by Brighton.
