“Fuck off, Princess Bubblegum,” Invisigal snaps. “It was a joke. If this fucking meeting wasn’t about ‘sexual harassment’,” she rolls her eyes and makes finger quotes, “it’d be about us being too loud on the radio, or us not being a picture-fucking-perfect hero squad, or us fucking up something on a call.”
Flambae hisses out another burst of sparks. “Don’t roll your fucking eyes,” he says, lip curled into a sneer, “you know full well that was a creepy fucking line, Invisibitch.”
OR: Invisgal makes another comment. Robert hits his limit, and so does the Z-Team.

The Z-Team didn’t like Robert.
They were villains. They were fuck ups. They each had a giant chip on their shoulders that barely let them stand next to each other on a good day. As soon as his voice first came on the group call, they had to give him shit. If they didn’t start harassing him, the Blonde Boss Lady would have benched them thinking they were being mind controlled.
Every handler thought they could “handle” the Phoenix team. Tame them, make them palatable, water them down. Turn them good. So they didn’t like Robert.
But they did like his voice.

Bit by bit, Buck stopped.
It began with the little things. First, he stopped checking his phone when he woke up. He used to do it everyday. He’d check for notifications on Chimney’s instagram, or maybe a new message from the 118 group chat. It wasn’t that anyone other than him texted at one in the morning, but sometimes he’d sleep past one of Cap’s old-timey GIFs or whatever.
Sometimes, Athena would text and greet him good morning. And a few weeks into knowing him, Chris would send a morning message begging for help, normally because Eddie was trying to make pancakes again.
So, with everything going on, Buck always made it a point that the moment his eyes opened, he would check his phone.
Until the first week after the lawsuit, and for the seventh day in a row, there wasn’t anything there except a pitfall in Buck’s stomach.
Nothing.
Never.
Not even a quick ‘hello’.
So, Buck ceased checking his phone. After all, why did he even need to?

Jean and Armin are captured by a Marleyan squadron under suspicion of Restorationist activity. They each endure a different form of torture and are changed forever by this short, traumatic event. It forces their friendship to evolve, their behavior to incite concern from their team, and for them to realize that if they're going to come away from this shared experience, they'll need to do so together.
Jearmin fans: you barely even need to squint for this to be pre-slash. I love intimate friendships and that's how I've written this.

Steve peels into the parking lot at Starcourt, already five minutes late. All the good spots near the entrance are gone and she has to park further out and jog and dodge around the crowds, shoving through them to rush down the escalator and across the food court.
There’s no line at Scoops Ahoy, but that doesn’t stop Robin saying: “Oh, nice of you to finally join us,” with a roll of her eyes as Steve disappears into the back to shove her stuff into the locker and arrange the stupid fucking hat on her head, viciously sliding the bobby pins into place

Steve ends up taking Max’s place as Vecna’s final victim and the gang concoct a plan. They’ll open a new portal in the Upside Down, use that connection to travel back to 1983, grab their babysitter and finish the fight before it can start.
Live out their lives as the children and teenagers they never got to be.
Only they get it wrong.
El overshoots by a year, dropping them back into 1982 and Steve Harrington has no idea who any of them are.ABANDONED:(
