Hornet woke in the Black Egg Temple to the sight of her sibling's fractured mask. For the walk from the temple's central chamber to its exit, she thought herself truly alone in the world once more.
When Hollow followed her out, she realized that wasn't so. But now she has to try and take care of her older sibling as they recuperate and learn to live in a world where they do not have to be pure, figure out what to do about what Little Ghost left of a body, and try to piece together two kingdoms which fell long ago.
Life keeps throwing her surprises, too, which does not help.

Zuko beheld an enormous stone door, carved with a symbol that resembled a tree, or perhaps a crown. It was weathered with age, and near the bottom of the door, there was great rent in the stone, creating a hole just big enough for someone of his size to squeeze through. It was odd though, that the hole looked like it was made by someone smashing the stone in from the other side…almost like something broke through from the other side and escaped.

Summary
A repressed life isn't a life. Not really. Lace knows that better than most, struggling each day under the gaze of Grand Mother Silk while something inside her chest cries to be set free.
When her creator falls into a deep hibernation that leaves her disconnected from the outside world, Lace springs at the chance to bend the rules and ends up discovering some rather unsavory things about herself. Namely, that she is madly in love with her sibling, and there is little she won't do out of a desire for their affection. Phantom, caught between what they know is right and what their body desires, may end up making things worse.
Their Mother will wake up soon enough, and when she does, she will wake up to a nightmare of her own creation.

The soothing serenade of mind-rendering gale has stopped, and the stagnant carcass of the lands once called Hallownest was once more open to the world. But be warry a traveler who sets foot there, as with riches, mysteries, and legends of the devastated kingdom to you might come its traps, tragedies, and horrors.
A new adventure beckons, but first, Bugaria has to greet some new guests.

Summary
Climbing out of the Abyss, Hornet and Lace are both exhausted and battered, physically and emotionally. The two of them struggle with their own internal conflicts. Hornet for the first time in a very long time is not alone. She doesn't know what to do when she is faced with feelings she hasn’t let herself feel in so long, courtesy of her new silken companion Lace. She is also reeling from seeing her sibling Ghost, while also processing everything she has been through since reaching Pharloom. Lace has gotten her wish and is finally free from her mother's grasp. Now she has a chance to be herself, but ages spent under her mother's control have left her grappling with her own nature. A nature that she feels her mother has cursed her with. She now has to deal with her past, while spending time with the Spider she loathed, but is finding herself enjoying the company of. The two bugs must grow from their past and forge a new future together in their practically infinite lifespan.
