Piastri is off-putting, yes. Eerily stoic at times and a growing nuisance to Lando when he bests him at duels in front of everyone. But does Lando think this kid is some evil and dangerous wizard? Frankly, he couldn’t care less about what this kid is.
He just needs to beat him next time they’re opponents.

This idea came to me after a lengthy conversation with a friend where I realized that Lucien and Azriel have a lot in common in terms of their backgrounds and families. I'm bracing myself for them to end up in a messy love triangle with Elain whenever a new ACOTAR book comes out, but this story was an opportunity to explore what would happen if they became friends instead.
Takes place just after ACOSF
This story will NOT focus on ships, but rather friendship and general relationship.

“I'm not suicidal,” Bruce says with a roll of his eyes, reaching out to take a biscuit from the plate in front of him. Alfred had specifically sent them with him to give to Clark, but what he doesn't know can't hurt him.
Besides, Clark doesn't even seem to mind, given he's more focused on glaring at Bruce from across the table, “I didn’t say you were. I simply made some observations.”

In Kaveh's humble opinion, the title for The Worst Guy In The World is tied between four people: the asshole in his Tuesday eight am, the employee behind the library email account, the guy writing the university's advice column, and the student that the professor he assists always complains about.
It would only be too convenient if they were all the same person. (They are.)

No one in District 4 remembers their first steps, Finnick is certain. He doesn’t even remember his little sister’s first steps. Ophelia was just as bad as him when it came to the ocean, when it came to being awestruck by it all.
Finnick wasn’t a very good influence on her — he encouraged her to sneak out at night with him. To dive into the water, to laugh under the moon. She’d tackle him into the water and he’d let himself sink as far as he could, pulling her down with him until he’d drag both of them back to the surface. They’d both be laughing, giggling, trying to dunk each other, trying to go under again, trying to touch the bottom.
Trying to reach out for something they could never begin to hope to reach.

It's just a gun – a semi-automatic, 9mm caliber pistol. It’s common enough. There's no real importance to it, other than the lingering fact that it's the same make and model that shot down his parents. Common guns; common crimes, as they say, Bruce supposes.
