Summary
When Merlin's magic is exposed shortly before season 2 starts, the path of destiny starts changing forever. Now on the run with Arthur, Morgana, and Gwen. Merlin hopes to convince Arthur that magic is totally good instead of him and Morgana just being an exception. Morgana, meanwhile, hopes to convince him to usurp his father. As allies are gathered and Arthur realizes the injustice in his kingdom, it looks more and more like he will have to act in a drastic way. A way he dreads.
Meanwhile, Arthur and Merlin are growing closer and closer and might just have feelings for each other. Something they probably should be better about realizing, considering the example of Gwen and Morgana right next to them.
In a land of myth and a time of magic, the destiny of a great kingdom now rests on the shoulders of four, their names: Merlin, Arthur, Guinevere, and Morgana

Summary
When Leon discovered Merlin's magic the night before the battle of Camlann, he whole-heartedly expected to be struck down by the god of magic that had apparently been living amongst the people of Camelot for years. At the very least, he was prepared to go down fighting, as useless as that would be in the face of a god who had just easily destroyed a cliff in order to block the mountain pass.
What Leon certainly wasn't expecting was for Merlin to decide that they were now close friends. What the hell was Leon supposed to do now?

Summary
When Arthur sends him away, Merlin doesn't know what to do. For awhile, he tries going after every dark-haired, dark-eyed man in the Five Kingdoms, just to forget his blue-eyed, blond-haired prince, but it never works. Eventually, he returns to Ealdor. That ends up being for the better, however, when said prince ends up in the village too, lost, confused, and unable to remember his own name.
Merlin knows it’s up to him to send Arthur back to Camelot, but that's a lot harder to do when he can't leave with him. Perhaps the appearance of a familiar foe can get him moving, though.
