Merlin had to shut his mouth halfway through explaining the dangers of knowing your own fate before it happens—at the very least, he let it be known that whatever Arthur does see is not the only outcome. For fear of sounding rude or ungrateful, Merlin left it at that and Arthur took her hand and disappeared into the tent without a second thought.
Arthur emerges as a changed man—someone Merlin hardly recognizes anymore.
