Tallulah nodded and gave Wilbur one last big hug. He held the embrace a little longer, her heartbeat syncing with his own, as he planted a soft and gentle kiss on Tallulah’s forehead, patting her wavy auburn hair in the garnet beanie.
Tallulah went inside the house as Wilbur left the island once more.
She soon realized how much worse things were without Wilbur as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Summary
Everyone was dead… except for two. A father and his son.
These two hid out in a bunker just on the outskirts of the main city of L’Manburg, with just two twin beds, and a bunch of canned goods they stole before shit hit the proverbial fan. They had no idea about what the world looked like, how the sun appeared to be brushed with emerald to conceal its golden hue, how the clouds hung lower to the crumbled surface, bowing downward in a twisted sense of pity.
Haunted echoes of laughter taunted the abandoned streets, as shattered streetlights danced across the eroded cobblestone. L’Manburg was no more. A ghost town riddled with secrets, now blanketed with death and decay.
A single monument remained. A doomsday clock installed just before the “Event”. It ticked down tauntingly, seeming to anchor in this thought that the world was indeed ending. The clock’s face seemed to smirk as every second passed, until…
There were 3 hours left.
or; tommy and Wilbur are the only survivors after an accidental nuclear apocalypse and Tommy decides he wants to explore the rubble of L'Manburg.

The castle was quiet, as snow began to softly blanket the windowsills that looked out on the surrounding fjords and mountains. The sky’s usual ebony appearance was clouded by a white sheet as soft flakes danced down with the breeze. Everyone was asleep, the castle still as a winter storm passed through, revealing a perfect playground for young children in the village to play in the following day.
A young boy, a prince, and his older brother lay in the same bed in the same room, the youngest unable to sleep. He sat awake while his brother, Wilbur, lay within the soft and woolen sheets, nestled comfortably and snoring softly. The blonde, Tommy, quietly sat up out of bed, so he wouldn’t awaken Wilbur. The young prince went to the window and admired the snowflakes as they swirled and clung to the windows, each white speck a bespoke and unique pattern, before they melted against the stained glass.Or; a crimeboys frozen au because I realized just how crimeboys coded frozen actually is.

To be entirely honest, Wilbur isn’t sure what his twin feels anymore.
Techno hasn’t spoken a word to him since the victory interview in the Capitol. Wilbur doesn’t really remember the conversation, too shocked and scared and disbelieving to focus on much more than putting one foot in front of the other.
Even now, his brother stands on the other edge of the platform, head bowed slightly as he exchanges some words with the mayor of their district. Wilbur only really knows him to the extent that his kid is friends with Tommy, but the way they cast nervous glances between him and the press betrays their worry.
Wilbur isn’t quite sure when Techno will stop being his mentor and be his brother again, but he hopes it’s soon because he can’t take much more of this.Or: Techno hasn't spoken to Wilbur since winning his Games, Wilbur doesn't get it at first, but circumstances force him to understand.

Summary
Wilbur's chest heaves as he tries to qualm his panic, continuing to struggle as the hunters start to walk away, bringing his light with them. His heart drops into his stomach as they slowly leave his scope of vision, the dark shadows of the forest closing in as the torch flickers and sputters before going out completely.
The hunter's laughter fades to nothing as they get farther and farther away, the cruel sounds replaced by idle cricket chirps and the rustling of leaves in an eerily calm breeze. Wilbur's efforts to escape increase as he realizes he is now prey to the mobs he and Tallulah have easily slain in their adventures.
He grits his teeth as he tries to move, to gain any leverage against the rope's tight hold against the rough bark. He looks around wildly, silently begging that there is anything he can use to escape.
