“What kind of question is that?” He shrugs again and though Hinata’s clearly annoyed, he does answer. “Scream. What do you think I’d do?”
“Would the sight of there being two be so skin-crawling that you’d have to take drastic measures?” Komaeda asks, eyes wide and expectant as Hinata backed away a bit. “Hinata-kun, let’s plan to kill the other me together. It’s the perfect opportunity!”
(Komaeda wakes up to see a mirror image of himself. This is a problem, right?)

Of course as a rule his admiration, his selfless love, extends to all the ultimates on this island with him; in this single regard, Komaeda wouldn't call himself picky, but. But.

Summary
"Y-y-you should've… j-just left me to d-die…" Komaeda stutters, his teeth chattering violently.
“Are you crazy?! Why would I—” He stops himself. “Nevermind,” he sighs, “don’t answer that.” Hinata begrudgingly holds Komaeda closer. “Just- stay still.”
Hinata finds Komaeda on the verge of death, his body temperature dangerously low. He knows exactly how to warm him up, even if it’s embarrassing enough to make him want to die himself.

“Well!” says Komaeda. “I’ve got a sort of routine when I’m showering, and this is usually the point where I’d masturbate –” and talking with his hands he makes a gesture that stops halfway but still ends up filthy, “– except I thought this time I’d better run it by you first, since you seemed to be having a good time so far just watching. But really, Hinata-kun, it doesn’t matter to me in the slightest, so long as you’re able to use me to enjoy yourself somehow!”
“I wasn’t – enjoying myself,” says Hinata, his gaze fixed fiercely on the ceiling; he can feel his blood pounding so hard in his throat he thinks he might be sick.

“That hurts.” Akutagawa forced out through his teeth.
“I’m not trying to hurt you.” Atsushi said with genuine concern behind his irritation, but it felt like a lie coming from his lips, since all he had ever done is hurt Akutagawa. It should be considered cruel, the way that Atsushi could kill him even when he was at his kindest, because right now the gentle feeling of Atsushi’s meticulous hands feels more like a stab wound than anything else.
Or: Trust is a complicated thing- especially between Atsushi and Akutagawa, who aren't quite enemies, but aren't quite lovers either.

Summary
Atsushi was preparing for bed when a bouquet of flowers landed at his feet. Then a mysterious figure climbed in through his window, drunk and ready to confess his love to him. He would've been scared if he hadn't half expected/hoped it would happen... again.

In other words: Akutagawa gets drunk and breaks into Atsushi's apartment to confess his love but it's not the first time.

“Please, what does it take to win your heart? I want you to love me too.”Atsushi brushed Ryūnosuke’s bangs aside. He whispered, “It’s the same every time. I tell you to ask me out when you’re sober. You just have to remember in the morning.”
Ryūnosuke’s nose scrunched up. He closed his teary eyes and put his weight onto Atsushi. His face pressed into his shoulder. He was so hot, Atsushi wondered if he had drunk more than just wine.
Atsushi slowly wrapped his arms around Ryūnosuke's slim waist. He patted his back, rocking side to side. He comforted him the best he could without breaking his own heart.
“We’ve done this dance before. I’ve already told you how I feel. You’re the one who keeps forgetting.”
He murmured into his shoulder, “I’ll try not to this time.”

Summary
Yokohama is a big city, but Atsushi and Akutagawa find themselves running into each other one night when both of them are unable to sleep. Akutagawa discovers that hearing Atsushi prattle about nonsensical topics is so... boring that he actually ends up falling asleep listening to his voice.
So, it only makes sense that the next time he finds himself sleepless, he contacts Atsushi and tells him to bore him to sleep once again. And again, and again.

Summary
Here they were, on a mission together, trying to decide on who's going to sleep and who's going to stay on guard first. Akutagawa knows he can't sleep - especially not in that situation, so he offers that Atsushi sleeps first. But, to his luck, they're similar in that way with his 'partner' too, and Atsushi has the same issue - they're both insomniac as hell. Talks evolve from there, and Akutagawa is not pleased with opening up, but Atsushi just wants to know about him.
He seems to understand the mafioso well, too, even if Akutagawa tries his best to not to let him in.
They're almost reflections of each other in different colors - and that disturbs him. Scares him, even. So, so much.
He hates Atsushi's colors.
But Atsushi keeps seeing right through him, and he's afraid of what might come out of it.

Akutagawa returns home after a mission gone wrong complaining of an irritating injury but insists that he is fine and doesn't need anyone's help. Atsushi just wants his boyfriend to feel better and not look so pale... It all comes to a head though when the injury turns out to be worse than first thought and Atsushi has to think quickly before his love slips away.
