Bruce, master tactician, did it with a single sentence, "This way I don't have to tell him I'm Batman."
Silence again. Then, as if shaken out of his torpor, Superman blurted out a sincere, “Bruce…what the hell?!”

"Really?" Selina said, half joking.
"Superman is powerful enough to destroy the planet. I have to find how to stop him."
This knocked Harley over, and Pamela finally stopped pretending not to pay attention.
Selina didn't know whether to laugh hysterically or slap him on the head.

Bruce nodded. It made perfect sense to him.
“I'll take you with me…”
“You must swear by your real name,” the kid interrupted. “Names have power here. Even if you're not fae. Swear that you will take me back, and I will help you. “
“You ask a lot of me.”
“Your secret identity is the least of your problems right now, don't you think?”
That was a great point.
[A few months after Jason's death, Bruce is kidnapped to marry the Unseelie Queen. In a court full of vipers, his only ally is a child he can't help but grow fond of]

They went down the stairs and into the kitchen. There they found a battlefield, with eggshells everywhere and black smoke above their heads.
Tim gulped, "Did Killer Croc stop by?"
"No, dumbass. It's just Bruce trying to cook."
"Huh?"
He heard someone cough, and Bruce came out from behind the counter, wearing a worn MCR T-shirt and his face smeared with flour. As soon as he saw them, he said, "Why are you awake?"
"Dunno old man, maybe it's because the kitchen is on fire."
It's Tim's first Halloween with the Waynes, and Bruce tries to make the boy feel like part of the family. Burning down the kitchen and almost giving Alfred a heart attack.

Stephanie had painted an old Jason costume purple, Cass was wearing a Barbara costume that was too big for her, and he really didn't want to know where Tim got his Robin costume. Sorry, Red Robin.

"For the simple reason that Master Robin is here with me," was the reply. Bruce braked suddenly, a few meters from Bristol, in an area where it was rare for anyone to pass at that hour.
He felt the blood freeze in his veins.

Two people entered, and the old man turned to them and said, “He is delirious. Do you think he has a fever? Or an infection?”
While he was distracted, Bruce got out of bed. He didn't have a precise plan, except to get as far away from there as possible.
Thanks to the tiredness, pain, and shock, he wasn't thinking straight. Because of the pain, he didn't notice that his body felt more thoughtful as if he had gained a few pounds in muscle mass. Nor did he see that he didn't feel those nagging aches from the aches and pains of age or that he had grown taller.He passed by the toilet and almost didn't see the mirror above it. It stopped. Reflected in the mirror was a young man of about twenty-five, his chest wrapped in bandages.
He touched his face, and his heart started pounding.
"It cannot be possible. I'm young again. But this isn't my face..."
It was too much to handle in a few minutes: his blood pressure skyrocketed and he passed out.
"Master Wayne!"
(In which Bruce Wayne is murdered, and finds himself transmigrated in the novel written by his daughter, in the body of the villain that bears his name, and with a new son. )
