Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.

The plan was for him to stay for four months, a third of the year, during which it was to learn about the people, the language, the biomes, everything he could.
Which normally would have been fine, great even! Tango loved learning.
But the fact that his mother would be there with him definitely put a damper on things.

Not hurtful at all- and Hermes, the only being actually helpful, speaking way too vaguely in a I-am-here-for-chaos-way. They all took their seats on the couches, and smaller couches, beanbags, apparently, according to the Box.
That's when the Box decided to light up. Again. Only this time, instead of words, there were images. The horse, Odysseus realized grimily. Of course they had to start with this. And music. Because of course there was."

It’s not your fault.If only Tommy could believe that. Not all of the Red on his hands is blood, but it barely helps. His life at the SCP Foundation is routine: white walls and bland ‘food’ broken up only by visits with Philza if he’s lucky, doctors and researchers if he isn’t, and The Blade if he’s really, really unlucky. Survival has a cost, but rarely is it one he himself pays, and the guilt of what he's done is almost enough to convince Tommy that the Foundation is right to lock up dangerous anomalies like him.
But then one day a bee appeared in his cell. That’s not to say things got better, but, well, they certainly weren’t so mundane anymore.

Clark can't, in good conscience, leave a 5yr old who has apparently been abandoned all alone on the dangerous streets of Metropolis, now can he? So, what's a superhero to do? But pick up the kid and adopt him.
Lois finds out about the GIW and Anti-Ecto Acts, and is like a dog with a bone. Bruce is less than thrilled that he couldn't adopt the boy first. But at least he'll get to be the fun uncle. And Jazz, Tucker, and Sam all get shiny new guardians out of it too.
