It looked like a sparkly rainbow with the word ‘friendship’ beneath it, accompanied by what Bakugou assumed was supposed to be a twinkling sound effect, but it had a tinny quality to it and sounded far away. “...or I just ain’t got the kinda straw you like to ssssip.”
Carefully, Bakugou considered the strange turn this conversation had taken.
He had never been asked, point blank, if he was gay before. And he honestly had never thought about how he would respond. Lying about himself didn’t sit right with him. But he’d always wanted to wait until he was the number one hero - when he stood above everyone else - before coming out. Though he’d had times when he’d thought about doing it before then and had almost gone through with it once. But being the number one hero came first. It wouldn’t matter what people would say about it then as long as he’d risen to the top.
Bakugou knew his lack of a response would give Camie all the answers she needed.

Bakugo wasn’t one to turn tail and run but the class rep was insane.
Kirishima, contrary to his obnoxiously styled red hair, was quiet and studious. He cleaned the chalkboards when the bell rang, never talked to anyone in their class, and was always seen sporting his wire-rimmed glasses.
Bakugo, on the other hand, was the high school delinquent. Arguably the most infamous in their city. Undoubtedly the most infamous in their school. He never bothered to wear his uniform properly, his ears were pierced and his face was notoriously scary.
So why wasn’t this nerd afraid of him? And why was Bakugo hiding from him in the bathroom?
Or: Bakugo is a good-for-nothing delinquent. Kirishima is the shy class rep. When Kirishima begs for Bakugo to go on the social studies field trip with him, Bakugo finds out there's more to the boy than he could ever imagine.

Bakugo nearly falls through the door when it opens. Kirishima, Red Riot, comes into focus, and his eyes flash with fear, maybe a little worry before masking themselves back into the stone-cold red that Bakugo’s used to seeing. Maybe the concern was just a trick of the light, maybe something that Bakugo’s adrenaline-infused mind just made up.
He could kill me easily, Bakugo thinks. Or he could just let me die.
But as his pain-addled mind debates those outcomes as well as it can, Kirishima is doing none of those things, and is hoisting him up gently so Bakugo’s weight can comfortably rest on him as his feet lift off of the floor.
“Who got you?” Are the words out of Kirishima’s mouth, soft yet filled with anger; and then, quieter: "I'll kill them."
