Dennis evaluates him for a moment. As he studies, taking in the small twitches of his muscles, the fidget in his chair, the dilation of his eyes in his red face, Robby squirms again, though he doesn’t speak, just waiting still. He’s so different here than in the Pitt, and yet, he’s exactly the same.
“You want to know what I think?” Dennis asks. Robby doesn’t even hesitate; he just nods. “I think I could bend you over this table right now, and it wouldn’t do half as much for you as me describing to you exactly what I’d do when I bent you over this table.”
The color on Robby’s face is getting dark, hectic. His chest heaves with deeper, faster breaths, his eyes surprised and blown dark and fixed right on Dennis.
“Isn’t that right?” Dennis asks. “Michael?”
