“I have an idea. How about I fake being your boyfriend? Maybe then you can face him and finally feel strong enough to move on?” Minho asks, his tone unusually soft. Jisung turns to face the elder, eyes wide and shiny with tears (and probably admiration, knowing Jisung’s luck).
“You, you’d do that for me?” Jisung asks, hiccupping mid-sentence. He can feel his heart start to race. Hearing Minho talk about being Jisung’s boyfriend makes his stomach fill with butterflies.

“I’m sorry Jisung, you just look so adorable. But here, why don’t I wrap them for you? I’m pretty good at wrapping gifts!” Felix responds, eyes still taking in the cute pink hue on Jisung’s cheeks. Jisung sputters at his offer, eyes frantic and wild.

I have really bad memories associated with Christmas and therefore I haven’t celebrated it in two years. It just all built up in my head upon seeing the tree, I guess.” Hyunjin continues with. He doesn’t even realise he’s crying until Changbin pulls himself away from Hyunjin’s side to wipe at his tears.

“How about a date?” Felix asks and pretty boy’s eyes get wider, somehow, his cheeks flushing a pretty shade of pink, and Felix resists all the urges within him that make him wanna coo at the boy. He can hear a squeaky noise of surprise leave Hyunjin’s lips from his left side and he mentally files it away in his Hyunjin blackmail folder for later.

Seungmin flips the door sign to open with a sigh. It’s 6am and he’s still wondering why the fuck he got stuck working Christmas day. He isn’t expecting any customers to come in – the coffee shop is a super small, unfamiliar place that doesn’t get a lot of traffic every day. He knows his university friends will be swinging by to spend the day with him, which he’s grateful for, but he wishes he wasn’t stuck here.
Seungmin sighs again. At least I get double pay, he thinks.

Felix hears the doorbell ring around five minutes later, locking his phone mid mindless Twitter scroll, and quickly hops up to go and greet his friends. The pair smile at him when they see him, and Felix feels another realisation of ‘I’m in love with them!’ flash through his brain. He shakes it off and follows after them into the kitchen. Minho and Hyunjin have brought more bags than he anticipated with them, and he stares in shock until Minho notices his look and laughs.
“One bag is presents, one bag is the Christmas goodies our parents sent us, and the other two bags are our clothes for the time we plan on staying.” Minho says, filling the younger in and Felix quickly nods. Makes sense.

Or, Felix couldn't get tickets home to Australia in time and is forced to spend Christmas at university. Luckily Hyunjin and Minho are there to keep him company. Or is it lucky?

Jeongin decides to finally sit down upon noticing the 11:58pm blaring across his phone screen. He pulls his laptop onto his legs, quickly loading up the page for the tickets (it was in his bookmarks, bookmark number one, because of course), and patiently waits. He loads up the full second-by-second clock in the bottom corner of his laptop screen and the minute the timer hits 23:59:50, he hits refresh on the page, non-stop until he gets onto the queue screen.
Jeongin finally gets onto the main page after twelve minutes of queueing only to be hit with the worst thing he could’ve been hit with.
Hyunjin’s Busan concert was sold out. It was only the concert Jeongin could attend, and it was sold out. Jeongin’s heart was absolutely, positively broken.

Or, Jeongin really wanted tickets to Hyunjin's Christmas concert in Busan, but the tickets were sold out. A friendly internet helper gifts him a ticket but who is really behind the neonpinkleds account?

The first day of December rolls around and that’s when Chan finds out about Momo’s plan.
“The company party planning team? Seriously, Momo, that’s your master plan to get me to talk to Jeongin?” Chan asks, exasperated and Momo flashes him a wide grin. He huffs.
“Oh come on! It’ll be perfect!” Momo exclaims. Chan thinks its over and supposes it won’t be too bad.
“Fine…” Chan gives in and Momo squeals, clapping her manicured hands in victory, her nails clacking together occasionally.
“I’ll let Nayeon know you agreed, then!” Momo says and Chan smiles weakly at her.
She’s just trynna help you, Chan reminds himself.

Or, Chan and Jeongin both like each other but are too afraid to say anything. Enter Momo and Seungmin, matchmakers extraordinaire. So now Jeongin and Chan are stuck planning the company Christmas party together. Nothing will go wrong...right?

“Well, you’ve been busy touring around the world! Must’ve been fun, right?” Hyunjin says, his tone sweet and Minho wonders what trick Hyunjin is playing on him right now.
“Honestly, it’s unreal. But I’m very glad it’s over and I get to come back and rest up for the holidays.” Minho says, slightly shifting his bags. Hyunjin’s eyes flick to the movement, and he flushes pink.
“Oh! Sorry, I didn’t even notice your bags! Did you just get back?” Hyunjin asks and Minho nods, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck. “Oh God, sorry! I’ll let you get back home, but, um, I was wondering if you wanted to meet up for coffee sometime soon. A new coffee shop opened up recently, it’s great, I think you’ll like it.” Hyunjin rambles on before stopping, hands covering his mouth as his eyes widens.

Or, Minho has just gotten home after touring with BTS as a backup dancer, and runs into a childhood friend; Hwang Hyunjin. The younger asks to meet up for coffee and Minho agrees to it, but will it leads to more?

Summary
Seungmin has made it all the way up the stairs and all the way back down again, checking over shelves thousands and thousands of times, when he finally decides to give up. He ends up on the first floor again, in the middle of the main entrance, empty-handed (well he still has Dracula, but that’s not what he means). He sighs, running a hand through his hair, and vows to start looking for a third time when a voice startles him out of his frustrated thoughts.
“Do you need help?” The person says and Seungmin turns to face them, finding a pretty boy standing before him. He’s slightly shorter than Seungmin, with soft orange hair and the prettiest lips Seungmin has ever seen. He shakes his head and stops staring at the shorter boy’s lips when he giggles. “You’re cute.” The boy (Jisung, as his name badge reads) continues, and Seungmin flushes, heat building within his body and blossoming in shades of red on his cheeks.

Or, Seungmin is trying to find a rare book for Hyunjin and ends up getting help from one very friendly (aka flirtatious) bookstore employee - Han Jisung.

Summary
Chan comes back in with a chair and one Hyunjin following after him. Minho mentally laughs at that. Chan was the biggest advocate for getting Minho and Jeongin together, but he was hypocritical because he was too cowardly to ask Hyunjin out.
Chan places the chair down, climbing onto it, before pinning the mistletoe to the ceiling. Minho watches as he tries to pin it above the armchair and coughs, catching Chan’s attention.
“No.” Is all Minho says and Chan pouts before pivoting on the chair and putting it more in between the chair and the large white Christmas tree that adorns the really small living room. When Chan turns around and steps off the chair, he startles upon seeing Hyunjin.

Or, the 5 times Minho and Jeongin's friends tried to get them to kiss under the mistletoe and another pair ended up under it instead, and the 1 time they finally caught them.

Summary
Chan taps the light off before climbing over Felix to get to the other side of the bed. Felix giggles lightly, the sound deeper than usual due to the sleepiness still thick in his voice. Chan smiles at him, even though Felix can’t see him, and wishes Felix a good night.
“Good night Channie.” Felix responds, and Chan smiles, closing his eyes to finally sleep. It stays that way for about ten seconds before Felix is shuffling closer, slinging his arm over Chan’s waist as he presses his face into Chan’s jaw. He mumbles something about it being too cold and needing Chan’s body heat and Chan just smiles once more, before wrapping Felix up in his arms properly. The younger hums in satisfaction and rubs his head across Chan’s chest (rather like a cat, Chan thinks), before finally mumbling another good night. Chan mutters it back before closing his eyes and trying to sleep.

“Dude, you hate Christmas. Why are you humming a Christmas song?” Seungmin says and Jeongin stops then, staring around at all of his equally confused friends. He flushes red.
“Uh, this person above me keeps playing Christmas music really loudly and singing along to it. I guess it’s getting to me.” Jeongin says, shrugging it off.
“Uh-huh, okay, and why haven’t you made a noise complaint?” Minho asks. Of course, he knows Jeongin and his hatred of overly loud people. Jeongin huffs. He can’t get out of this one.
“The person is a really good singer…” Jeongin mutters, trailing off and both Felix and Hyunjin gasp at that.

Or, Someone who lives above Jeongin, a Christmas-neutral person, keeps singing Christmas songs really loudly. Luckily they're a good singer. Enter Felix, who thinks he knows the person and sets up a way for Jeongin to meet them.

The next morning Felix walks into the kitchen, grabs the first batch of cookies for Changbin (in it is two chocolate chip ones, two chocolate ones, one gingerbread man, one snowflake, one Christmas tree, one rainbow cookie, one sugar cookie and one white chocolate chip cookie), before turning to Chan who stands in the doorway, dressed in all black, with his black bag slung over his shoulder. He’s headed to the university music studio early today, Changbin and Jisung joining him later, so Chan agrees to plant the first batch of cookies for Felix.
“Thanks again, Chan.” Felix says as he stands in the front doorway, saying goodbye to Chan. Chan just waves back at him before pulling his headphones onto his head, and walking around the corner to get to campus. Felix shuts the front door with a sigh before leaning against it and sliding down.
“Please let this go down well.”

“I, I don’t know. I just, I want to confess to Chan.” Hyunjin says, voice shaking as he finally, finally, verbally admits the truth. “Me, Felix, and Chan were at the ramyeon place where Wooyoung works, and Chan seemed…off. Felix said he was jealous, but I’m not sure.” Hyunjin rambles, before cutting himself off with a huff. “Help me Minnie.” Hyunjin whispers then, the sound loud in the dim quiet of the empty room.
Seungmin sighs, a sigh that signals his thoughts are getting hectic, and Hyunjin looks up at Seungmin’s form. The younger’s hands are carding through the blue strands of Jeongin’s hair and the youngest of the trio is still fast asleep where he lays, curled up in a ball of black clothing and neon blue hair. It’s adorable, Hyunjin admits.

Jeongin pouts as he watches Changbin through the misty window. The older boy had been so excited to go out and play in the snow and everyone had rejected him. Jeongin felt horrible, he really did, in fact he still does, but he was half-asleep when Changbin has asked, and so he had said no. That, plus the fact that he was embarrassed to have been so weak last night by sneaking into Changbin’s bed after a nightmare had made him determined to avoid the cute short boy he was crushing on. But now, as he watches Changbin sit out in the cold, a sad look on his face as he gets lightly dusted with snow, Jeongin feels a desire to go outside and cheer the older boy up.
