Upon being gifted a Life Note, that human who is the owner of said note will be able to resurrect people from the dead. It been another day at Wammys house. Dark was the smartest kid in the orphanage and everyone loved him. Except for Mello because he felt like he deserved to be the smartest even though he wasn’t that smart. Mello was a d–k to everyone and was quite mean to the staff. Roger was kind of creepy so he deserved it but the others just wanted to do there job and stuff. Dark was always near the second smartest kid who was named Near (get it???). And they where cool. Near got picked on because they where very wimpy but Dark was nearby (get it??) to avoid any extra bullying.
However one day something really bad happened that changed the course of Dark and Near’s relationship and it involved Mello.
