Such a defense would be considered blasphemy here, since IQ tests holding promising results had been done on all the children participating in the successor program. Light wasn’t sure how or why it had happened. Tsuki was a stillborn baby. He was, for all intents and purposes, dead. He didn’t exist for anyone else, aside from Light himself. There was no one else who could see, hear or touch him. Tsuki, himself, couldn’t interact with the material world too much without using tremendous amounts of energy that left him weak and translucent, edges blurring into the background for hours afterwards.

Summary
Taken from his family at a young age, Light Yagami is stripped of his identity and given the name Kira, shortened to K, and brought to an orphanage called Wammy's House to hone his skills and become a successor to L.

Read 3/9ch... Character that was family with L and Watari gets a second chance to change everything and save them from Kira. Character wakes up in a boy's body on the streets and locates L as a kid on the streets. L and "Victor" become close. The story is basically just about L and Victor growing up and becoming the famous L again. I skipped ahead alot and only the last 2 chapters are about Light but not him being calculative and mental.
