Summary
Grooming is not unusual amongst the Galrans. To groom was to keep one’s coat well-maintained and cleaned, even after a grueling battle. Grooming is no doubt part of a Galra’s daily ritual. But grooming is considered so much stronger amongst mates. It’s known to bring affection. Often it would lead to scenting and even mating. It’s a reason why grooming is measured as symbolic and personal to Galrans. Something sacred and dear that should not be abused.
So, how was Lance suppose to know that? He was no expert in Galra culture.

It should have been a perfect plan; Keith has always slept during long car rides. All it’d take is a few advil for the cramps and he’d be out like a light, waking up just in time to sequester himself in his room for a few more days. Then he’d be able to spend some good quality time with Kolivan at the end of his heat.
What he didn’t account for is Kolivan’s rut.
Keith can’t actually remember the last time he’s seen one of Kolivan’s rut. He tries to, and the best he can think of is back when he was maybe thirteen or fourteen and he had missed a soccer tournament because Kolivan was too anxious for him to leave the apartment. It stuck with him because that was the first time Kolivan’s rut had meant Keith would miss out on more than just school and tests, and he had complained something fierce. He must have said something about it, because for the life of him he can’t remember seeing Kolivan in rut since.

What they find is a orphan black wolf pup. Of course, they can't leave without him. Follow the journey of our 2 wolves trying to raise their little pup.

In order to save his family and their farm from starvation, Lance must make the ultimate sacrifice by becoming the bride to the King of Marmora. The boy believed it was the only way, even if it came with the price of losing his freedom. It’s possible the King did all of this just to fulfill some selfish goal and be done with it. To move on and live his life again. In the end, Lance has become nothing more but a sacrificial lamb to the King of Marmora.
Perhaps Luis was right. Who could ever learn to love a beast like the King?

It's just really hard when your dorm-mate and rival keeps saying you've got a tiny knot, and keeps pressing your buttons. Sendak just HAS to prove him wrong, and Kolivan has to meet anything Sendak's done and pay it back double. That's what happens in the heat of the moment; you end up doing (stupid) things.

Summary
Hunk's stomach was twisting hot with nerves as he joined the others on the growing battlefield, even more strongly than when he normally fought. Sweat beaded at his brow and dripped down the back of his flight-suit as he fired round after round at the aliens. This planet smelled strongly of sulfur, and the sharp odor seemed to bake in the hot sun with the stench of sweat and blood from the battle, the smell assaulting his senses.
All at once, Hunk caught the scent of something new and almost sickly-sweet, and he realized that the twisting in his gut wasn't just nerves from the battle.
It was heat. He had gone in to heat, in the middle of battle.
Hunk cursed under his breath and shot an alien that was rushing toward him. Of all the times...
